Reading some of these reviews, I think there is a mix up. Even the photo is not Hacienda Playa and you certainly don't need a car as someone said in a review. Its an exceptional resort, right by Marriott's Beach Resort, Nikki Beach and the Don Carlos Hotel and Beach Club. There are very many restaurants in the vicinity including beach bars (Chiringhitos) and town bars in Elviria village (7 minute walk). There is a supermarket within 2 minutes too. The pools are great and security is good. Highly recommend.
