What a fantastic location! My husband and I only stayed for one night but wished we'd stayed longer. We were the only guest's staying due to covid but we were made to feel very welcome although we felt a bit guilty. The views from our room were stunning and just the drive to the casa were in itself amazing. The room was comfortable and rustic which added to the charm. Our evening meal was lovely with fresh ingredients and everything was beautifully prepared. Breakfast was lovely with homemade bread croissants and jams. There are lot's of places to walk with great scenery and so peaceful. We will definately be back and will certainly stay longer. Thank you Mike

We booked our friends to stay overnight in this delightful hotel. They were delighted with the facilities and decor in their bedroom, in keeping with the age of this fascinating property. The welcome was warm and friendly. We all enjoyed a drink together on the lovely sunny terrace. Five of us booked dinner for the evening. It was a dinner we will never forget. Superb service and attention to detail. The food cooked by chef Michael could not be faulted. He kept us entertained all evening. We highly recommend this place. Great value for money too. We will definitely return.

I recently spent a night here during a week long biking vacation through the mountains of the Costa Blanca. After a long day in the saddle, it was a relief to take a long, hot shower, then settle onto the terrace taking in the beautiful views with tasty olives and free-flowing beer from the outdoor keg. Dinner was delicious, I slept like a log because of the mountain air and tranquility, and was then off again after a wonderful and filling breakfast. Proprietors Michael and David were particularly nice and helpful.

From the very warm welcome we received to the end of our stay there was nothing to complain about . Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Dinner was delicious all home made including the bread and use of garden produce . Breakfast was large and varied tasty and served on the patio enjoying the November sunshine . Already looking forward to our next visit

Wir waren am Valentinstag zum Essen im Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Es gibt ein Menü mit drei Vorspeisen. Hauptgericht mit verschiedenen Angeboten. Nachtisch. Das gesamte Menü war außergewöhnlich gut!!!!! Wir haben in der Region Valencia/Alicante schon sehr viele Restaurants besucht. Bis auf ein oder zwei Restaurants kann sich keines mit der hervorragenden Qualität und der außergewöhnlichen Gaumenfreude messen!! Die Weine sind hervorragenden, rot wie weiss. Sehr nett eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich. Kommunikation mit den Inhabern auf einem angenehmen freundlich Niveau. Es ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Reservierung ist sinnvoll. Hemos comido hoy en el restaurante de esta casa rural 4 adultos, previa reserva en su página web (a través de The Fork). Llegamos a las 14:20 horas y nuestra comanda fue tomada a las 14:30 horas: 2 menús de la huerta pasqueña [25 € /pax] y 2 menús "Degusta la Pascua" [32,50 €/pax] ambos cerrados; el menú de la huerta: Caldo de pollo y verdura con albóndiga de pan y perejil, ensalada de la huerta pasqueña con adobados, carrillada de cerdo Duroc con puré de patata y carlota glaseada, strudel de manzana con helado de vainilla. ambos con panecillo artesano. Menú Degusta: crema de pimiento rojo con crujiente de caballa (plato que sirven caliente, muy logrado), ensalada verde con rabanitos y fresa, quiche de verdura con trucha asalmonada (plato caliente, aunque poca cantidad), cazuela de ciervo jabalí con setas pastel de patata cebolla con compota de manzana _tanto el quiche como la cazuela permitían una opción vegana_ y crumble de albaricoque con migas dulces de chocolate y nata montada. Bebidas: 4 Turias de barril de 33 cl y 2 Turias de barril 40 cl, 4 cortados descafeinados. Total cuenta 140 €. Ubicación: a la entrada de la localidad de Margarida, junto a la iglesia. El local tiene una tienda ecológica en la entrada, después un comedor cubierto con una exquisita decoración, a la derecha la cocina, más adelante una terraza, donde nos han ubicado. Disponía de unas 6 mesas.

Eine überragende Lage mitten in den Bergen. Dazu: Michael. Ob auf Deutsch, Spanisch, Französisch oder Englisch - er ist einer der herzlichsten und mit seinem speziellen Humor versehener Mensch, der Wünsche erfüllt, von denen man selbst nicht weiß, dass man sie in diesem Moment gedacht hat. Überragend! dazu ein exzellentes Abendessen mit sehr gut ausgewählten Weinen sowie eine Unterkunft, die nichts vermisst. Wenn wir irgendeine Möglichkeit haben, werden wir wiederkommen. Uns hat an der Unterkunft nicht gefallen, dass wir wieder weg mussten. Alles andere war so, wie man es sich nur annähernd wünschen kann. Hierhin lohnt sich die Fahrt. Unbedingt. A class of its own. Überragend.
