Room was good. Only problem was they are doing a lot of building work to the hotel so a lot of noise early on!!!

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are rude and racist. They disturb you for no reason in the middle of the night. They come knocking on your door at 3am! The room was dirty dust everywhere. The fan was covered in dust and the bedding had blood on it. We will never stay here again.

Room was clean and the main bed was very comfortable. There were two adults and two children in the room so two single beds and the main bed. One of the single beds was adequate, the other felt like a piece of wood with a 2 inch mattress on top. Ridiculously hard. My daughter was trying to sleep on it and ended up waking multiple times as she could not get comfortable. So I offered her my bed (the other single) to try her bed. It was genuinely like sleeping on the floor. Considering this is the unique selling point of the hotel I would expect EVERY bed to be comfortable and if Premier Inn cannot guarantee that then they should not offer rooms for four people. Added to this the plug in the sink in the bathroom would not open once closed. There also seemed to be no hot water coming out of the tap at any point.

Suggest waiting until it's renovated. The location was good for us. The beds were good. We knew the restaurant was closed and the hotel was being renovated. No problem. We were there one night, it was just a bed and shower for us. We didn't expect to have to leave the bathroom door open because the handle was hanging off a broken door. The bathroom floor was grubby also.

Cold rooms, no wifi and then the boiler gave up ! Booked for a couple of days at it was a friends birthday and we wanted somewhere reliable and comfortable with parking and wifi so one of our party could finish a work meeting . Upon arrival we were told that there was no wifi . The rooms were cold ( thermostat turned down to 14 degrees) and it took a couple of hours to warm up. Which luckily we had as we needed to find a cafe with wifi ! On the morning of the second day the boiler broke so there was no hot water so we couldn’t warm up with a shower . The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable but overall it was a disappointing stay

Amazing visit even though major building works were going on. No breakfast as pub was also having major work done, but hotel had endless coffee in reception & pastries in the morning. Room was spotless, bed really comfy & the pillows are the best! Good showers, with body wash provided but bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Plenty of towels and they will come in & clean your room if you request it. (If staying more than one night!) very easy to find - free parking in front of the hotel & just across the road from the beach.

To attend a Mayoral event in the town as we do every year so have to go in January. There were major building works taking place and there was No Restaurant, No Bar and the WiFi was non existant. Due to the heavy rain there were large puddles outside the main door. there was limited parking. The reception is tiny and with 5 or more guests in place it was bedlam. There was no breakfast except a few coissants in plastic bags which didn't really do it. It was a necessity to stay in this town on this date but I won't be doing it again. It might be nice when the building works have finished and in a sunny July time.

Excellent location for access to the town, the railway station and Dreamland. Despite the building work there was plenty of (free) parking. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the complimentary coffee and chocolate bread were very welcome. The room was comfortable, spacious and warm.
