Hotel Coluccini

I stayed in this hotel for a week in August, an experience that I would neither repeat nor recommend. The hotel seen in the photos and from the outside looks very nice and recently renovated but once inside you can immediately notice a lot of sore points. Starting from the cleanliness: in all the common areas it leaves much to be desired, the stairs and corridors are very dirty, as well as the common terraces and the external staircase leading to the breakfast veranda, in the latter you can see various objects abandoned here and there like landfill. The carpet that covers the internal stairs and corridors is dirty and full of dust, there are cobwebs on the stair railings. Even the breakfast veranda is really poorly maintained, a little more attention would be needed especially as regards the cleaning of the tables and chairs, the latter being of white fabric are often dirty with food and in some cases even with bird droppings. The breakfast buffet is normal, there is a good variety of both sweets and the salty part, even if there is little attention, when something ends it is often not replenished. Another sore point is the bicycle service, we mistakenly assumed that the service was included in the price of the hotel (as happens in most hotels in Italy) but surprisingly we found the charge on the invoice, 48 € for having used two bicycles 3 times (a couple of hours at a time). To avoid this inconvenience it would be sufficient to specify that the service is paid immediately when the bicycle is taken, it takes little. To conclude our holiday in style then, two days before departure, we had an absurd experience! We suffered the theft of a personal item, stolen from our room. Once this unpleasant fact was reported to the hotel staff, we let it run around waiting to receive updates, magically the following day this object was found, according to the staff "in a common area of the hotel". had never left the room by our hand nor had we gone to the place where the object was claimed to have been found, all very strange indeed. We did not want to go further to investigate the matter as the important thing was that the object had reappeared but despite this it is really absurd and unacceptable that in a hotel where you pay 200 € per night the service staff would allow themselves to put the hands among the personal items of the guests. I think that for the general level of the hotel the price is too high and not at all justified. I would like to say that the only positive aspects of this hotel are the proximity to the sea (just cross the road) and the strategic position, near the motorway exit and halfway between Forte dei Marmi and the city center.

3 stars at the limit of the stars. Poor room cleaning, we found hair and dust everywhere and a dirty bathroom bin with waste inside. Insufficient breakfast service in Italy it is impossible not to serve a coffee or a cappuccino and use self-service machines (which are probably fine for a foreign target). Bicycle service for a fee, it would be advisable to indicate this to customers and not find it on the invoice. Condition and maintenance of bicycles to be improved given the paid service.

Siamo stati sei giorni in questo hotel ad agosto a mezza pensione. La camera con vista mare non era molto grande e, non avendo il balcone, non potevamo stendere costumi o asciugamani. La colazione era molto ricca, c'era sia il salato che il dolce ad esempio varie brioches, torte, crepes alla nutella. Anche la cena era molto buona, potevamo scegliere tra quattro primi e quattro secondi, di cui due di pesce. Insomma, all'hotel Coluccini siamo stati molto bene e abbiamo mangiato benissimo.

La qualità è molto peggiorata. Niente cestino in camera, quello del bagno non viene svuotato. Molto sporco, wifi scarso. Non tornerò più. Attenzione ai dettagli uguale a zero. Sembra quasi che dei clienti non gliene frega più niente. Sarà perché la stagione sta finendo. Canali tv non si vedono.

Un pernotto business, hotel vicinissimo al mare, parcheggio comodo, reception accogliente come del resto il personale. Camere da rivedere, un po’ vecchie da ristrutturare, colazione sufficiente, salato un po’ scarso. Sincerante una lunga vacanza la escluderei.
