Marinus Beach Hotel

What a beautiful hotel. Upon entering reception when we arrived we were impressed immediately. The views from the panoramic windows were just incredible. This is a small hotel of only 29 rooms making the service exceptional. The staff were some of the best I have experienced in the many hotels I have stayed in. Super friendly & helpful. A special shout out to Angela who served us in the restaurant & looked after us extremely well! We were lucky enough to have booked one of the 2 family rooms which gave us access to a pool on a large private patio only shared with one other family room. This pool was in the sun all day but also allowed access to shade if needed. The views off this terrace were spectacular too. Breakfasts were plentiful & well cooked with a good choice of items. We ate dinner 3 times in the hotel restaurant. It really was excellent with quality ingredients cooked skilfully. I would definitely recommend eating there if you are in Marina. It’s a shame that the restaurant wasn’t busier as it really was very good indeed. Marina is a small village with a few restaurants & good base to explore this part of Croatia. We hired a car which allowed us to visit many beautiful cities, towns & villages nearby & I would recommend it as the driving is so easy there. I would not hesitate in staying at the Marinus Beach Hotel again as it is most definitely one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in over the years. I agree with other reviewers that although this hotel is officially rated 4* it most certainly feels more 5*!

Stayed here for 5 nights after a busy few days exploring Split old town and the islands of Hvar and Brac. So we were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxed and that’s what we got. Beautifully decorated small hotel tucked away in a small Croatian harbour town. We really enjoyed the bar next door with its great views and good cocktails and food. The breakfast in the hotel was very good, only had dinner there once on the terrace and that was great. Shout out to the receptionists who were very kind and friendly and always wanted to check in with you. Overall a great break with lovely weather and stunning sea views.

Great clean tidy modern hotel in a lovely location. Good breakfast and a really excellent dinner menu if you wish to eat there in the evening. My only complaint would be a lack of shade and the usual ****** who reserve a sun bed under an umbrella with a towel at 7am only to turn up at midday. Given the style of the hotel i think it would be better if it was adults only. Other than that it’s excellent.

Loved the continued access to the excellent beach, pool, bar area after we checked out of our rooms. This allowed us to enjoy a full day at the hotel before we left Marina in the late afternoon.
