Prince of Wales Marlow

Friendly welcome. The pub itself is a little tired. Our room was pleasant and clean. Bed a little lumpy. Breakfast cooked to order. Sadly our room was above the bar, and the night we stayed music was played really loudly until about 1:30am! Did ruin the stay!

Night in Marlow , good pub , room , excellent breakfast. The grey haired barmaid was a bit rough but we had been warned !!! We had the best evening for such a long time in a place that we did not know and the staff , landlord and anyone else were so hospitable it was fantastic. Will be back 👍🍺

A free car park is a cracking start to my visit, and there's plenty of spaces for vehicles. There's no theme to this pub. It's just a nice boozer. Good selection of any type of beer, lager, ciders, and shorts. I received a warm welcome from Nicole and, after a quick pint, was shown to my room (6). It had a single bed and was fine for just me. There's no air-conditioning, but that wasn't a problem. The window opened, providing sufficient ventilation. The en-suite was fine, too, but be careful with those 2 steps if you get up in the middle of the night. My room also had a perfectly decent TV with freeview and netflix access. The stairs that lead to the room are quite steep, I'd say, so do bear that in mind. Breakfast was perfectly decent and freshly cooled on demand. My only criticism is that it was served on a cold plate, which is just a personal bug bear of mine, and the breakfast cooled quickly as a result. Would I stay again? Definitely.

A great location ,Lovely room (number 1 ) nice bed and toilet and bathroom, staff very friendly and helpful .Nice bar and seating area's .Enjoyed a full english breakfast .Free car park .Would look forward to staying again .A1 100% Happy thank you so much Ian & Eileen

A quaint little hotel near the centre of Marlowe. The rooms are furnished really well & the staff were warm & welcoming. A nice size TV in the rooms with a good variety of Chanel’s & pay per view Chanel’s if you want Netflix. You have a fridge & Iron & Ironing board. There is bottled water also, which is a nice little addition, with tea & Coffee making facilities. Normally you get 4milk portions in most hotels, here was a bowl with around 10-12 portions. All in all a good little hotel The only negative is the seating opposite the Gin bar could do with updating as it is very tired & worn out. It all in all a warm friendly hotel.

This is a pub with rooms. It is near town and river and I was able to park in car park. There is a street entrance with a very steep staircase. The single room is compact and there are stairs down to the ensuite. The shower was inconsistent and went from hot to cold without warning. Some handrails would have been helpful. Bed was fine. Room was hot - it was a very hot weekend. Late night noise from outside and air con units outside meant I had a job to get to sleep on the 2nd night. Breakfast was ok.
