The Red House

All of the staff were wonderful. Very professional and efficient as well as friendly. The place was clean and tidy and really atmospheric. We ate at the restaurant one night and had breakfast daily. The food in All cases was superb. The pool and gardens were very relaxing and the location is great because it is quiet and walking distance to everything! The front office management of Abdel and Amine were a dynamic duo!

Everybody at The Red House were wonderful to deal with especially remembering Abdel and Amin. The team were always engaging, pleasant and helpful and were delighted to help and take part in celebrating my wife’s milestone birthday, decorating the room with petals, flowers and cake. Thank you all. The Red House is in an excellent location for getting around, and the size and style of it suited our tastes perfectly. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return should we return to Marrakesh.

Beautiful building. Location is good but: - road in front is quite noisy. Must have a room in the back (not front or side) if you are sensitive - service is not great. Friendly but in effective. Two examples: - asked for non-cow milk at breakfast. Was told tomorrow. Next day, told tomorrow again. Never happened - dropped laundry at desk start of day. Nothing said, no call but laundry not done as paper was not filled out. But they never told us or asked or tried to communicate (had to walk to laundromat in evening and do it ourselves)

When we first pulled up at this hotel I thought it looked basic from the outside and it sits on a busy road in Marrakech. I had no idea what to expect and wondered if it was going to be as good as the reviews. I had my mind completely changed once we went inside and stayed there. This is a small hotel with a extremely clean, warm, small pool perfect for sunbathing after a hot morning visiting the souks (they are over the road and about a 10-15 walk away or a few minutes in a cab). For this place, it is the staff that make it utterly excel. I've never stayed anywhere where they are such friendly, obliging and genuinely nice people that cannot do enough to help you. It makes your trip.They gave us so much good advice for our short trip and went above and beyond to organise and to help with every single little detail. They seem to love their jobs and are great fun to be around and fluent in several languages which put us to shame. They are relaxed about dress code here which I was a bit worried about but needn't have. The room was so clean and there is bottled water to drink and a good bathroom, our room was huge with lots of satallite channels and a comfortable seating area with some fruit and treats given to us. The bed was also very clean and really big and comfortable and it was a cool and quiet room, so I couldn't fault it. There were French, German, American and English staying there but I noticed other people came to eat at the restaurant who weren't staying there from France and Italy. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and cannot recommend this enough. We were tired the first night and thought we might as well try it but we were blown away by how good it was. Really fabulous cuisine and a very Morrocan feel about it with a lovely guy quietly singing and playing a sitar, with candles everywere. I would definitely eat there again and the desert was incredible. This hotel was a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger, fancier hotels but for a couple of nights, it was honestly perfect and I stay there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful family supper with top notch service from Anas and splendid food. One of our nicest meals in Marrakesh. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, generous portions, authentic flavours and the room is breathtaking. It is one of the most beautiful interiors I have seen in the city.

This beautiful house was our base for 5 days and proved an excellent choice. The rooms are large, bright and equipped with a comfortable bed. Room servicing was excellent as was the attention we received from all the staff in the restaurant and reception. Abdel could not have been more helpful. His recommendations for a trip to the Atlas Mountains and a guide for a walking tour of the Medina were outstanding, as were his recommendations for restaurants to eat out. The restaurant at the Red House is a truly splendid room, ceramic tile art covering the walls, columns and floors. The food is excellent, with good menus for lunch and dinner. Although we didn’t use it, there is a clean pool in the garden and the option to eat in the garden or on the terrace is always an option. Would I recommend? Absolutely and without hesitation
