Booked this place as I wanted to experience something different rather than standard hotels. The place looks tired, it’s not clean at all, there is no light in the bathroom, bugs in the room, they also have a cat onsite which we found hiding in our room. Breakfast - no comment. Breakfast served outside which would be okay in the summer. We travelled in January and it was absolutely freezing. You get served a pancake/crepe, pastry and jam. Also, the area is not the safest but a good location, walking distance to most attractions or the meet up point for excursions.

The location is perfect with easy access to everything the medina has to offer. The riad itself is beautiful and our room is very comfortable. This is a guest house, not a hotel, and they treat you like family, not like a customer, which my wife and I absolutely love. To me, that is what makes Riad Dama exceptional. The staff are all incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful, especially Jamal. He texted me before we even left Colorado, and has been an incredibly gracious host. I cannot recommend Riad Dama and Jamal enough. It has been an absolutely magical experience so far, and I am happy we still have a few days left.

Jamal and Chipo, are the most attentive hosts you could ever wish for! This is a charming oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling inner-Medina, with a peaceful roof terrace for a quiet suntan. The rooms are cool with very comfy beds. A lovely hammam and jacuzzi give an added luxury.

Such a wonderful week spent at riad dama. The hosts Jamal and Chipo were always there to help with any advice and recommended the best locations. We had the most relaxing massage on the final day and wished it would never end, thanks to Melaka and Hamsa! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great 5 nights at Riad Dama. the hosts are fantastic - so helpful and able to recommend some superb options for meals out and excursions. We had a superb stay and would recommend it. For us the location in the Medina was important as was the selection of a riad.

Absolutly loved my stay at this riad. The host and his coworker were more than welcoming and made me feel at home from the first second. the weather was crazy hot (47 degrees) and this riad had the best airconditioning a tourist could wish for. The interior is warm and traditional and the room was perfect. And to mention again, the host and his coworker were warm, welcoming and most kind. Thank you for the stay and will definitly see you again!

Splendido Riad. Personale gentile e professionale. Location bellissima, camere tipiche, ampie e pulite. Avuto un piccolo problema con rubinetto e lo hanno risolto in un ora. Fantastico e consigliatissimo sia per famiglie che per coppie. Posizione ottima e cibo buonissimo. Colazione inclusa abbondante e buona. Cena a parte squisita.

Struttura molto bella, contenuta e ben gestita. Abbiamo visitato diverse riad, ma questa è stata l'unica con la piscina riscaldata, un bagno in piscina la sera dopo tutto il giorno nei mercati è una vera libidine!! Hanno l'hammam con la possibilità di prenotare anche massaggi rilassanti a un buon prezzo CONSIGLIATO dato che la colazione ci ha davvero soddisfatti, una delle sere abbiamo mangiato in terrazza, e le loro tajine erano STREPITOSE!! Mouad e Ibrahim sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti. Ci hanno addirittura organizzato il viaggio per Merzouga e hanno gestito i nostri trasporti per Fes mantenendo i prezzi locali. Praticamente hanno organizzato a puntino tutta nostra la vacanza, e grazie a loro abbiamo visto posti magnifici! Si vede che hanno viaggiato molto per il paese, conoscono davvero bene il Marocco in tutte le sue sfaccettature, e sono stati in grado di aiutarci e consigliarci, non solo per Marrakech ma anche per il resto delle citta sempre disponibili e gentili per farci sentire a casa in ogni momento. Super consigliato!!
