A True Oasis Just Outside Marrakesh We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful oasis. Although the surrounding area is currently being developed into luxury villas and the road leading to the hotel doesn’t quite set the scene, don’t be put off — once you arrive, you’re transported into a tranquil retreat. The hotel is small and intimate, with rooms thoughtfully arranged around a central pool across two levels. We stayed in two mini suites, each with a welcoming entrance hallway, separate shower, loo, and bathroom area. The main room was generously sized, featuring a super-comfy bed, a couple of sofas, and a desk. Our ground-floor rooms also had private garden spaces with sunbeds and lovely views of the pool. The pool area is a real highlight, with large double loungers, plenty of umbrellas, and attentive staff on hand with towels and drinks. Poolside service was prompt and friendly — a real treat in the Moroccan sun. Dining was another highlight. The restaurant serves a mix of local and international dishes, all beautifully prepared. What really stood out throughout our stay, though, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. For those wanting to explore Marrakesh, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle several times a day — a great way to balance city adventures with poolside relaxation. While the hotel does show a little wear in places, it’s nothing that detracts from the overall experience. In fact, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff more than make up for it. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
