Hotels with Parking in Marrakech

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

For a quick stay or business stay I like it All is correct, except one thing I recommend to be improved is the breakfast …. I really find nothing to eat especially I don’t take sweet stuff in the morning

With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. I visit Marrakech alot so have a lot of positive (and negative) experience with hotels and other accommodation... I can honestly say this is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. Check In was about 4 hours long Room wasn't cleaned and new towels weren't offered throughout our stay TV, Safe, AC, Wifi (that they advertised) did not work upon sending a technician to the room, the Wifi worked and nothing else No rail in the wardrobe - asked for this to be sorted no go Side room with a balcony that overlooked a derelict building,,, locals using the hotel for the weekend were put next to us which is great but they came in at 3/4am and were very loud Pillows and bedding were basically non existent - lumpy pillow, rock hard bed, rags for bedding would be better sleeping on the floor Balcony peeling, no furniture on balcony Bar staff tried charging us for drinks we didn't have Pool area is awful. Overgrown grass, dirty cold pool water, broken furniture Overall was a negative experience in this hotel that was only made better by the fact we were in Marrakech which is one of the greatest cities in the world AND the fact the hotel across the road is a little better and you can go and sit by their swimming pool and enjoy their facilities. Basic tip for anyone thinking of booking this hotel.... just spend a little extra money and head somewhere else.

Starting with Positives, Hotel garden and pool areas are very beautiful and our room Opera Suite was really spacious and elegantly decorated with lots of storage space. Hotel location is good just outside of key attractions and markets. Also breakfast was very good with multiple live cooking stations and large variety of high quality items. Check-in was very quick and efficient. But behind this beautiful surface, hotel has major issue with the service as many other reviewers have also pointed out, so seem management is not acting on the issues noted in these reviews. Let me give some highlights: In the breakfast you are asked for coffee and orange juice when you arrive, but after this it is impossible to get refills. Even if you manage to get hold of one waiter, there is no change they will actually bring something. Last morning I tested and waited 20 mins after my order, but then left with the family... One evening we arrive in hotel around 18 and asked door staff how long pools are open, we were told that until 8PM, we went to pool around 18.45 and some 5-6 other travelers on pool, but no towels. We asked the pool staff for towels and they said they will bring, but then 19 all the staff left and no towels were delivered! And thirdly on the morning we were checking out I was asking reception that they would collect our luggage at certain time, but gentleman behind the desk said i need to call the porter when I want to get them to be picked. Seem even this kind of small task is too much for them to do! I could continue with many more examples...well matching with other reviews. So if you like to wonder around wet in the dark corridors after the swim and are happy to take care of you own luggage and do not need 2nd cup of coffee this is your hotel;) Otherwise I would select some other option. And finally if someone in hotel actually reads these reviews I am still waiting clarification of extra 130eur charge on my bill. I have now asked 3 times for the receipt to check what this charge is so I can see if is ok. Next request goes directly to Accor Legal and the CEO. JARI

Very suitable for taking pictures, the location of the hotel is actually okay, compared to Marrakesh is not big, before the taxi must tell the driver a good price, from the hotel to the train station to play the train as long as 10, the driver is hard to live 50, it is recommended Fierce

Excellent service: staff is very friendly, very helpful and you come as guests nothing but nothing short.

An excellent hotel in every way. The only drawback is the location, since it is necessary to pay for taxis continuously to go and return to the city of Marrakech (250DH-350DH) each way. For the rest, personally, probably the best hotel in Marrakech, simply spectacular!

We booked for a 3 night stay for 3 people but had to manage a room for 2, for the first 2 nights. No apologies whatsoever from the hotel nor a compensation. The 2 rooms we stayed in during our stay were both badly lit; make up for nights out was a huddle cos the room was quite dark. A great highlight however is the amazing location and fresh flowers in the lobby that oozed amazing scents.

Location is good, near Four Seasons and Sofitel. Good service consciousness at the front desk, rich breakfast, comfortable swimming pool during the day, rooms are relatively old, but sanitary standards.
