Never again... we lived in the storch house. You can only boil water, really nothing else. It is in the offer as an holiday appartement, not a room. In other hotels ist is often possible to boil water for tea or coffee in each room. The „kitchen“ is under the ladder for henns. You have to go upstairs for the bedroom. It’s unfortunately not possible with some blood in the alcohol or with old bones, or you feel old. The glasses were ALL used and dirty in the cupboard. The hand soap was empty. We also visited the restaurant. It was okay and expensive. The meat was from an very old animal. I am not sure, if it was really a goat. After the salad, which was very simple, we had to wait for more as half and an hour for the main course. Unbelievable, I thought they had at first to kill an animal.

OK stay but not more. Cozy 80's hotel with some remarks. The room lacked air conditioning. If you opened the window, you risked insects coming in. The bathroom with much original interor from the 80's such as dated tiles and yellowed pine panel. Water from the shower leaked through poorly sealed shower walls. In the restaurant, some in staff did not have sufficient control over the situation. A waiter lacked basic knowledge of how to set a table, for example. The waiter had difficulty with simple things such as distributing the beverage notes for two companies. The pool area was somewhat old-fashioned and the outdoor environment outside the pool was dirty and not inviting. The staff was friendly and the cleaning was good. Free parking.

The room was clean. The service was almost non-existent. The waiters had to be called from reception to take an order. That took a while. When we asked, the waiter said he had to ask the kitchen and didn't come back. We then went to Jesteburg for dinner. The sauna door was popping off its hinges, the treatment room and the relaxation room were cold. Rust and deposits were coming out of the tap for the salt bath, through the old pipes. Absolutely terrible. Never again!

I can only advise against eating there. Five of us went to Heischnucke to eat this evening. The man at reception was very friendly, which unfortunately cannot be said of the service staff. The appetizers that were presented to us as food were at best something to satisfy hunger between meals. According to the menu, cucumber salad is served with the schnitzel, but we got a mixed salad that was no longer fresh and the chef left the tomato stalks on for the sake of simplicity. When we pointed out that the menu said cucumber salad, we were told that cucumber salad would not be available until tomorrow. The aspic was served with "delicious" remolade from the Metro bucket. Here too, the salad was not fresh. There was something floating at the bottom of the Alster water. When we pointed out, the glass was cleared away and the waiter had the audacity to ask if we wanted a new one. Perhaps the waiter should have seen the dirt at the bottom of the Alster, apologized and brought a new one. Nothing like that! The cutlery is also old and could have been cleaned. We ate here twice. The first and the last time.

We were guests the weekend of March 10th to March 13th. It was wonderful, everything worked perfectly from the reception to the evening meal. Our room was nice and big and clean. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice, from cold to warm dishes. The swimming pool and saunas were in great condition and clean. The evening menu (we had half board) was a 10 out of 10! Best wishes, the Rumpke family

The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. No fire alarm in the room, many things broken. The swimming pool can only be used temporarily because external courses are taking place. The tiled floor on the terrace is a tripping hazard

Only review for a stopover... Asparagus soup, meatballs forgotten...served lukewarm after 5 minutes...espresso and decaffeinated coffee (not true, not immediately apparent). Absolutely overpriced, service only looking at sales. Never again

We were very disappointed. The hotel is very old and definitely does not have 4-star status. The staff try hard, but the service is not up to scratch. Cleanliness is also not a priority here. When we wanted to have breakfast on Sunday at 9:15 a.m. (breakfast time 7:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.) the food had not been replenished and deep plates or cereal bowls for Easter with yoghurt were not available even when we asked.
