My SpiderWick Garden It was today 1st of May 2024 ....I made a solo trip from work to Masaka town all in forces to just go for a swim at the Banda lodge the pool is super clean and private ....the staff are so polite....the ambience is so green and clean....they have cottages too similar to a LOTR kind of thing ...you would love it if you like nature .....and it's really safe ....they are so..cleannn.... Well I think I just love the place ....I intend on visiting again ....😍😍😍 When you go up the restaurant section it has a view of masaka town its really amazing.. Thank you for the great reception again

The staff at Banda are amazing. Nothing is a problem. The accommodation is great and the chefs Ian and Dennis provide sumptuous food. Carsten is a crack up. There is a great vibe and I met people from all over the world. Many were regulars. Thanks to Anita and all of the staff.

On an overland trip through Uganda or family of five came across this gem. Most rooms were booked but luckily they had room for us in their more basic rooms; a room with bunk beds and double both with shared bathrooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable and the shared showers and toilets were clean too. The restaurant has a lovely view and good food. Breakfast was good. The pool was lovely. Staff were friendly, and the owner was very nice. We highly recommend this place!

The rooms are extremely nice, especially if you get the family room with the kitchen. The only problem is the power. The hotel should invest in a generator. There was no power for most of the night. Breakfast was supposed to be over at 10 am. When we arrived at 9 am, there was no food left. They only prepared extra pancakes, which may have been because the power was out. All of the amenities we expected (cable TV, free breakfast, etc) were not available. Although it was not the hotel's fault, it is in front of a loud speaker in which there is loud music in the early mornings.

Always the same problem with the reception. We came for work for 5 nights, we had a problem that kept us in another city and the manager forced us to pay for 5 nights instead of the 4 we had even though the hotel was half empty. Be very careful when paying. Never book in advance at this establishment. It's a shame because the hotel was really very nice and the other staff members too....

Behind the pretty facade, there are dishonest people who only want money. - The reception is not friendly. - The hotel is often empty and you have to order what you want to eat 10 hours in advance...including breakfast. - The service is insufficient: the staff forgets things or is not there.....you have to do as the house does and serve yourself. - Some rooms do not have hot water at the sink. - You need a headlamp to get up at night. No lamp or switch next to the bed. - On weekends it is noisy with music and bass that prevent you from sleeping. - Be careful not to book, they will make you pay for any night not used, under the pretext that they could have rented to other customers... except that the hotel is empty....
