We stayed here for a long weekend in January. The manager was very rude at check in. Bungalow was ok for the price but we could not work out how to get the lights on. The all inclusive pool bar was run by a very rude little man serving drinks as if he was doing you a big favour. The food was terrible. Breakfast was always cold. Evening meal was a very German menu every evening. Location is a bit out of town. Nothing within walking distance. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

A few things I didn't know a hotel guest would have to figure out by themselves. The water heater was turned off for some reason. I had to go to the reception to ask why the shower only had cold water. Then a maintenance guy came and checked the water heater, turned it on, and finally I got luke warm water. There was a main switch for the lights. Unmarked, though it was of different color than the rest of the switches. That too I couldn't figure out on my own. Tv remote deposit, a new experience for me. No room towels at the pool. Okay, fair enough, but where can I get a towel for the pool? It still remains a mystery. Otherwise, ok place.

Wow, what can I say about this complex. On arrival, the reception area was really dated, which was our initial impression. The receptionist wasn't helpful at all. Pretty much gave us our key, and off we went. The apartment was on 2 levels, but omg the steps were lethal. Not one of the steps were even and very steep, and I had to be really careful coming down them. The bathroom was like something in the 70s , no toilet roll holder , rolls were just put on the toilet. The bath was absolutely vile, it was full of airline cracks and looked really dirty, no plug so thankfully couldn't have a bath but the shower was OK for about 5 mins before running out of hot water.. no storage to put amy toiletries, so It was very cluttered around the bath.. The beds were steel frame beds with sharp legs, which we had to wrap towels around them as the room was so small you caught your feet on them all the time. Air conditioning in the room was so loud that you had to keep it off . The sheets weren't changed all week. The cleaning was just a sweep and mop through. The toilet rolls were even left on the table downstairs and not even taken up stairs. The pool was again dated with lots of tiles missing, and the loungers could do with a good scrub. The bar area wasn't very big, considering it was an all-inclusive hotel with the most awful drinks that were made with slushies all the time. Only nice drink was the local beer. The food in the canteen was bloody awful, it's open from 8am - 10am for breakfast and if you're not there at 8 the food was cold and just left to sit there. Doors shut at dead on 10 am. Thankfully, there was a microwave there to heat it up bit that broke throughout the week. They started cooking burgers at 10 for lunch, which by 1pm they'd dried out and were awful. No kettle in the rooms and the machines were all of at 11pm, so couldn't have anything after that. There's no shops near by but the taxi rank is at the end of the road. We would never return here for sure. We've been coming to GC for the last 15 years and around 3 times a year and this is up there for the worst, so please look elsewhere which is so much more value for money.

Not a good all inclusive place at all, food and drinks are poor and very limited, bar drinks are disgusting apart from the draught beer most resemble nothing like their equivalent back home. Soft drinks were all sugary and only the cola was no sugar. The restaurant was more like a canteen and food ran out very quickly indeed. The rooms and complex was clean with towels and sheets changed regularly. We go abroad at least three times a year and this was one of the poorest places we've ever stayed.

WORST hotel I’ve ever been to, do not waste your money. Where do I start…. first morning my boyfriend woke up to MASSIVE cockroach next to his bed then it crawled under the bed board, that’s where it lives, would constantly hear it make noises. The food was horrendous same every day - chips, pork chops, chicken salad, the only thing I liked was the ice creams ( can’t go wrong with that). The staff behind the bar (bald man with glasses aka pedro) was SO rude to my boyfriend basically told him to F off because he asked for two drinks which you are allowed as it states at the bar. Also the cocktails are not even made by what it says, there was only one staff that would make it correct. The entertainment was rubbish wouldn’t even call it entertainment, it would say bingo is on but wouldn’t actually be bingo and they would always close the bar before it shuts which is 11pm. The beds in the rooms were so uncomfortable didn’t have a decent night sleep once and the pillows made my neck stiff as they are pretty much paper. The only thing that was nice was the weather and the pool but overall absolute shocking hotel!!!!

The hotel was clean and tidy , rooms small but clean but very dated . Beds were comfortable , obviously use to be self catering as rooms have a kitchen and fridge but unable to use as no equipment . Pool and pool area was clean and fantastic during the day to chill and relax , lovely pool but again needs some maintenance work . Restaurant and food was as ok , reasonable choice and always some thing to choice . Bar was good and friendly staff , downside if you have room around this area as will be noisy , also in the evening no place to chill and relax except the same dinner table and chairs . Activities were pants , lady was no really interested and didn’t really make any effort . Overall reasonable quick break with no frills , it is in the middle of nowhere but quick taxi ride for €4 gets you to main area or €8 to playa da ingles

Worse place I have ever stayed in. Feels like a prison camp, food is below rank. In middle of what looks like a building site with no shops. Not even got a kettle in the room to make a coffee when the bar is closed. Got a bath but no plug for either the bath or sink. Toilet roll holder is broke so have to leave toilet roll on the top. Would not come back here if it was free

After reading the reviews we were a little concerned, however we really didn’t need to be. We had a great holiday. Very friendly staff who work very hard. Spotlessly clean (not an insect to be seen anywhere). Food was good. We were a group of 9 friends (2 of whom were self confessed fussy eaters) and even they found something to eat every mealtime. Nice mix of people staying at the hotel. Range of nationalities and ages and everyone was very friendly. No gobby ******!
