Welcome to DreamVale Chalet, a fully remodeled and designer-decorated home in the heart of Massanutten Resort. With 6 bedrooms (5 conforming), the house sleeps 14 comfortably (without even using sofas)! Relax in the hot tub or outdoor sauna, then enjoy a meal at the oversized outdoor table or sip wine around the firepit. Inside you'll love the open floor plan and large kitchen. Downstairs is a second living room and separate game room with pinball, foosball, and arcade game. Plus, pet friendly! The home layout is as follows: Main level: - Private back deck with brand new dining table for 10 and lounge area with propane firepit and gas grill (propane provided for both) - Great room with large TV and electric fireplace, open to dining area and kitchen - Dining table seats 8, plus 4 more at the bar - Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Ground coffee and k-cups provided. - BR1: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom - BR2: King bedroom - BR3: Queen bedroom - Hallway full bath with shower/tub combo Lower level: - Lower deck features brand new hot tub and sauna - Additional living room with oversized sleeper couch, 65" TV, and game table - Game room with pinball machine, foosball table, and arcade game - BR4: Bunk bedroom with 4 custom-built bunk beds, each with a full size mattress. Plus, shuffleboard table and electronic dart game - BR5: King bedroom - BR6: Additional bunk room with full bed on top, 2 twins on bottom - Full bath with shower/tub combo - Laundry room with full size washer and dryer Things to do nearby: The house is about a 7 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 4 minutes to the spa, and just 5 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house. Other things to note - DreamVale Chalet is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night). - We provide our guests $1500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. The cost of this is already embedded in the cleaning fee. - Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more. - There is a flat, circular driveway that can fit 3-4 vehicles, plus 2 more parking spaces right in front of the house along the street - Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. All 6 bedrooms, plus both living rooms and game room, feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services. - We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options - Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a $6 per person fee. - Linens and towels provided - Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes/utensils provided Lastly, this property is located within an HOA that requires the community rules to be posted here, so here are those rules: WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN! This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat. NOISE • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. • Keep noise indoors during these hours. • No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. PARKING • Keep all tires off the road. • Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host. • Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840) • No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with written approval from your host. OUTDOOR FIRES • High wildfire risk area! • No open fires. • No unattended fires. • No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM). • Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions, check MassanuttenVillage.com or electronic sign at entrance for updates. ALCOHOL No open containers on roads or in common areas. PETS • Leash always required when outside. • Clean up after your pets. TRASH • Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property. • Dumpsters are located at 4003 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE • Please note that if you would like to send packages to the property, you do so at your own risk. USPS is particularly unreliable. We can not be held responsible for late or undelivered packages. Additionally, we charge $25 for any return services requested, in additional to actual postage. Tips for a Happy Hot Tub - Be sure to unclip the hot tub cover before removing it. - Please do not put anything besides people in the hot tub (like mulch or toys). - If the water level doesn’t cover the jets, you can use the hose to add water. Please disconnect the hose when done, especially in cold weather when it could freeze. - Always put the cover on the hot tub when not in use - this keeps the hot tub warm & filled with water. Using the plastic clips helps keep it from blowing off. - For safety reasons, please don’t add chemicals to the hot tub yourself. If the water looks murky or has a smell, let us know, and we'll have our hot tub expert come by to treat it. - Do not drain the hot tub. - There's no need to turn off the hot tub.
