The hotel is awarded 2 of 5 because of the fantastic position. The hotel itself is a little outdated but OK and I have no complaints. The problem is the service that is worse than awful. If you want to get your room cleaned, you have to kindly ask at reception for cleaning the next day (I am not joking). Breakfast: If you do not arrive to breakfast among the first you get leftovers. Lunch: You take dogy bag from breakfast if you arrived early enough to get something. Dinner: You can always get something, but do not be picky. At bar you can drink from 11.00 to 18.00, but you have to find someone to serve you since nobody is at the bar. In the whole hotel from morning to late evening I only counted 3 waiters for the whole week we were there. I do not know how many hours per day they work. The bar is then officially closed to 20.00. If you wish to sit in the bar area you should arrive at 19.00 because afterwards everything is full. To get drinks you have to wait in line in front of empty bar because drinks are not prepared at the bar but somewhere in the back. They take some orders and return from back somewhere after a while with the orders. They are ordered to take their time since they offer all-inclusive and do not want guests to drink too much. For conclusion I did not believe that such a terrible service could be found in Germany.

Very clean hotel, furnishings were as good as new, shower needed a bit of renovation. Beds and furniture very good. Food very tasty and delicious. Staff always very friendly and quick. Reception friendly and accommodating. Free parking directly in front of the hotel.

Das Hotel ist mega, alles Super. Essen und Trinken so lecker im Überfluss. Wir sind hier eine Woche im all inclusive und leben wie die Könige. Das Service Personal ist so freundlich und erfüllt uns alle Wünsche...Es gibt Sport und Freizeitangebote aller Art und auch Haustierbesitzer haben

Die Betten sind unglaublich hart. Ich habe mich die ganze Nacht gedreht und war jeden Morgen froh wenn die Nacht vorbei war. Ein Schlafen mit offenem Fenster ist leider auch nicht möglich, da die Ruhe des Thüringer Waldes durch die Abluftanlage des Wirtschaftstraktes durchbrochen wird. Eine Klimatisierung oder Lüftung der Zimmer gibt es nicht. Das Schwimmbad ist ok. Die Sauna funktioniert. Das Dampfbad war leider defekt. Das Hotel gehört ebendo wie das in Heubach einem Türkischem Unternehmer. Auch der Küchenchef ist Arabischer Abstammung. Das führt dazu, daß es keinerlei Schweinefleisch gibt. Auch sonst ist das Essen/ das Buffet orientalisch angehaucht. Wer gut Bürgerliche Thüringer Küche sucht ist hier falsch. Es gibt aber immer frischen Blatt Salat, Gurken, Tomaten und Paprika. Das Mittagsmenü ist die 9€ nicht wert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer Hilfsbereit. Fazit: für ein sportliches Wochenende zum Wandern oder Ski laufen ganz ok. Für einen längeren Erholungsurlaub ungeeignet.

Zimmer sauber und ruhig, Essen (HP) vollkommen in Ordnung und abwechslungsreich, freundliches Personal. Wellnessmassagen und Beautyanwendung bei Zarif, der momentan alles allein abwickelt, sehr professionell, gut organisiert und einfühlsam durchgeführt. Großes Lob und Dankeschön!

Das Hotel mit osteuropäischen Servicekräften bemüht sich, seinen Sternen entsprechend seinen Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten. Leider war das Zimmer noch nicht zur angegebenen Zeit hergerichtet , wir bekamen ein Update Zimmer, was wunderschön, außer den harten Matratzen, war. Der Name Frankenblick war durchaus gerechtfertigt. Alles war sehr sauber, das Schwimmbad, eigentlich das ganze Haus, was den netten Servicekräften aus Osteuropa zuzuschreiben war. Danke!!! Das Frühstücksbüffet bot leider keinerlei Abwechslung und hatte den Touch eines türkischen Frühstücks, wie ebenso auch das Abendessen. Wenn man im Thüringer Wald ist, erwartet man Knödel oder typisch regionale Gerichte. Manchmal gab es Nachtisch, wegen der Eintönigkeit verzichtete man gerne.
