We both had the pleasure of staying at Casa Dive while being on vacation in Matera. This is truly a good hotel, which can be recommended. Very cosy, nice room, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff.

The service we received from Eleonora at Casa Diva was faultless. She was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about Matera (where to park, eat, what to see etc.). As for the property…..Simply stunning! The reception and dining rooms are beautifully decorated. When we entered our cave (the uva suite) it was beyond amazing. Imagine Fred Flintstone won the lottery. Carved out of the rock, the huge room has high ceilings, tasteful decor, two comfortable double beds (in separate areas), and fabulous clean and modern bathroom. There’s even a mini ‘en-suite’ cave with a Jucuzzi bath. Another door leads to a large characterful terrace (shared with one other suite). The town of Matera should be on every bucket list, and is as friendly as it is unique. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay at Casa Diva.

The welcome is very friendly and attentive. The room is spacious and comfortable. The decoration is beautiful. The wifi is fast. Channel 48 broadcast Arte in French. And the breakfast is excellent. A great experience in a magnificent city rich in history.

The quadruple suite is truly the Top. A large room with all comforts. We were only there one day on a special occasion. Really beautiful

All perfect!!! The structure is very beautiful and very central. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Our room, on two levels, has a terrace with a wonderful view. The staff are friendly and ready to pamper you, whatever your request. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Matera, an enchanted and beautiful city

Casa Diva is absolutely brilliant very Art Deco Close to center of interest Incredible view Absolutely brilliant staff for breakfast who agreed to come early due to our departure before breakfast time and Eleanora our hostess very friendly and helpful! The house is really well located, well decorated and bright. The view from the balcony and the rooftop is splendid. The welcome is top notch. The spacious and pleasant room. Perfect breakfasts for this standard. When booking we were told that there would be a supplement for late arrival. We arrived at 9 p.m. even though the reception "closes" at 8 p.m. Other customers arrived a little later. We therefore paid an additional cost of 20 euros which we find unacceptable for this level of standing! Too bad to be left with this bad memory of Casa Diva. In short, you can go there and enjoy...but arrive early!
