Very comfortable room, in a quiet and relaxing spot of Matheran. Delicious food and above all very friendly and serviceable staff! Our stay was lovely, we even extended it for two more nights without any issue. The hotel staff was always ready to help us with any inquiry. The room was large and with all necessary things.

The rooms of the hotel should be spacious enough to accommodate the guests and their luggage properly. A large tv with a king-size bed for comfortable sleep at night. Breakfast is too good. Overall property is fine.

Overall nice stay. Good Hotel and maintained property. Clean Rooms and good friendly staff. I expected more as per their pics on the website.

Radha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India. For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information: - The ”toy train” runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking. - It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk. - It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter. - Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2. - Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.
