Its is extremely peaceful&relaxing...the rooms are well manned and have the most amazing views.The scenary is breathtaking&worth every penny.The rooms have no network or wifi access which is perfect for a get away from the hustle of town...

I stayed at Big Cave Camp for 2 nights as part of a safari tour. This is one of the most unique locations I've ever stayed at. The camp is on top of giant granite hills, with overhanging rocks providing privacy for the cabins. The scenery is breathtaking, it made for wonderful evenings sitting watching the wildlife come to the waterhole at the bottom of the hill. Marshall and his team do a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome. I'd highly recommend Big Cave Camp for anyone travelling through this part of Zimbabwe.

The site is unique yet there is noting much to do around. The room is old and the mattress is 100 years old. Feels you are sleeping on the wooden bed with no matress.

Fabulous restful retreat in the middle of the Matopos. So peaceful. No noise but nature. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The chef made us an African meal on request. Everyone was introduced by name and was friendly.

We had a really special time at Big Cave Camp. The location and scenery are amazing and the food and hospitality was first class. The Rhino tracking is a must and the visit to World View was very informative. Our guide Sandile was very knowledgeable, helpful and great fun

I can't imagine a better situated camp in Africa - up in the rocks, looking out over a peaceful green valley. The cabins are spotless and feel very up to date; the location is great for exploring the national park; it's extremely good value and the team are top notch. The food is solid and good rather than amazing - but it's all you need. We all loved this place.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The lodge was neat and the views amazing. It was good to have the freedom to walk around by ourselves and we got to see some rock paintings.

Big Cave is an excellent base from which to explore the Matopos or to simply view the fantastic scenery and bird-life without leaving the camp. The lodges are spacious and comfortable and the plentiful food is excellent. All the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and good company. The activities are also excellent value and the sunset drive is not to be missed.
