A stones’ throw from the train station and with a stunning view, this is a ryokan that seems to be unchanged since the 1970s or early 80s. The fixtures are dated but in good condition, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was superb!

The hotel's facilities are still relatively old, especially the open-air hot spring, which has been broken for many years and has not been repaired. However, the waiters have very good attitudes and the rooms are well cleaned. A very comfortable Japanese-style hot spring hotel located next to the Huanhai Railway Station. Open the windows and have a panoramic view of the Songdo coast and islands. Had a lovely stay at Daimatsuso. The hotel is very conveniently located beside Matsushima Kaigan station. The building was old but well maintained and clean, with separate male and female onsens for guests. The dinner was excellent and served in room, overall a very good value compared to other ryokans in the area
