Room was very clean and the view was great. The pool area was nice (we went to the 'residence' pool as the main one was crawling with screaming children), and the service was good. The pool side food was better than expected for a pool, but the drinks were far too overpriced. Our room was one with a doorway into the adjacent room, which we weren't using. That door however allowed us to hear every noise in the next room. Doors to the hallway were nice and heavy. Water bottle given on checkin was nice, with refills available. Door key on a wrist band was super convenient. No losing the key! Be aware- very little beach, and many areas completely shut down due to erosion damage. Walk to whaler's village is a bit of a hike. Self parking lot was TINY and when there were no spots available the valet said they would only charge the self-parking-fee but then charged us the full $40 for valet parking, even though we had no other choice. The valets were very fast. The hotel bill included breakfast which was supposed to be covered by our conference, but after a bit of discussion they did remove that from the bill.

We stayed five nights at Honua Kai. The exterior grounds were well kept though the pool was cloudy on more than one day. I’d say the pool was average+ compared to others I’ve visited. Hotel was on the beach so it was nice to have that as an alternate swimming option- awesome views too! Barely any drink waiters around the pool which wasn’t a huge deal but gives you an idea of the level of service available. We didn’t have room service the entire time we were there which was annoying. Maybe that’s the new norm post-Covid but it would’ve been helpful with five people in a room. And honestly, it’s a cheap way out for hotels IMO. Fitness room was over 80 degrees. There were only large fans; no A/C in half the gym. There was one yoga mat for the entire room. One day I went in, there were no water cups. Just felt the overall attention to interior maintenance was average at best. The place is massive. Half are condos and half are rentals. Nice space available in the rooms for families. Having the kitchen and two bathrooms was a bonus. Average, clean rooms with nice views. In a scale of stars, Id give it a solid 4. Nothing special, but clean and good for families.

While it is a Days Inn, no frills, basic room, it is a great location right on the beach. Friendly staff too. We called to see if they would store our luggage prior to check in (so it wouldn’t be visible in our jeep while we drove the road to Hana). They accommodated us gladly. They provide nice beach towels as well.

The room design facilities are very similar to the domestic Samsung to four-star restaurant. The taste of the restaurant is also good. There is no entertainment. The standard white resort hotel is flipping around the swimming pool. From the morning to the evening, the pool will be used every once in a while. There is a service brother to send free ice cream. The standard check-in time for this hotel is 4:00 pm. Later, after learning about the local land price with the agent, I probably understand why the hotel is so expensive.

The room provided by this hotel is very large, and the kitchen inside has everything you need. You can cook together as a family. There is no surcharge. You only need to submit a deposit of 150 yuan and a daily tax of 9.23 US dollars. The front desk service is very good and the stay is very comfortable. In the morning, a free breakfast is provided at the gate, explaining the main tourist attractions of the Big Island. If you are full or don’t want to listen, you can travel according to your own plan. Everyone is very relaxed. There is no service such as strong recommendation. In short, it is good and recommended to stay!

Hotel service: I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 in the evening. I didn't want to make a fuss after playing in the big island for a day, so this hotel is next to the airport. The transportation is convenient, but the fly in the ointment is that it is a bit noisy, but it is expected, so it can be ignored. Setup: Didn't work, just took a nap and left the next day. Food: There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which has no special features, but there is a food truck yard outside the parking lot, which has everything, you can consider eating there.

The most satisfying hotel in this trip, the environment, architecture and service are first-class, all kinds of small details are also considered comprehensive, value for money, everyone is reluctant to leave, I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the future!

This hotel in Maui is really wonderful. Except for a little later. There are too many advantages: the hotel upgraded my two-bedroom room. Surprise! The hotel is equipped with washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven, hob, fridge. Just go buy some spices. You can make Wellington steaks. The hotel pool is large and has its own beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Lahaina. One hour a day! There is a barbecue outside the hotel and you can prepare your own ingredients for a barbecue. The air conditioning in the hotel aisle is super cold, super cold, super cold! Disadvantages: It may be because the room is on the first floor, and all the mosquitoes in my room! Super, more, more, more, more! ! ! However, the air conditioner is lower, and basically does not bite. It is very cautious to look at. Let's talk about Lahine's Ole, the discount is the same as Ouhu, but there is no superposition of UnionPay. If you need to buy something, go to Ouhu. It’s much cheaper. I lost 100 knives because I didn’t hold back. Finally, the resort fee is 25/night, parking by yourself, 15/night plus tax, valet parking 20/night plus tax. The report is completed.

I cannot recommend booking with Ho'olei enough. We had four adults (two married couples) and one infant and the experience was fantastic. First off, the Ho'olei team was extremely communicative weeks before our trip even started. We had texts and emails with the concierge regularly As a parent of an infant, the included high chair, crib, and baby proofing of the unit was extremely helpful. It was all set up when we arrived. Additionally, as we had a full kitchen and grill, they have a grocery service that will pick up groceries before you get there. We arrived at 2AM our time (8PM Hawaii time) and all of our groceries were put away in the fridge and on the counter ready for us to use. It was a very nice thing after 14+ hours of travel. Check in was very smooth with clear instructions of how to use the property. We had a Deluxe Ocean View which meant we were in the last row. The views of the ocean were incredible with multiple whale sightings per day. The only downfall of this is that the walk down to the pool or the hotel was a little longer. However, if you do want to go to the hotel, free valet was included in our stay which was a huge bonus. Additionally, when you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle service you just text to get picked up that runs until 8PM (however the valets take over after 8PM) Our concierge helped us book 99% of our activities. We also had a reservation as Mama's fish house, which you have to book months in advance. At the last minute we had another guest wanting to join us for dinner and the concierge was able to contact the restaurant and add the additional guest.
