Booked two rooms for our family trip. The service was excellent. Special thanks to Mbak Sundus who was very helpful and for paying special attention to our needs throughout our stay there. Everything was perfect. Definitely value for money and the interior of the room was beyond expectations. The only downside was that there were no mini fridge and heater in our rooms.
Main purpose of the trip was of course to visit Mount Bromo. We couldn’t book a tour beforehand. Thankfully, they have a package which included the jeep ride to view the sunrise and visit to Bromo (tour guide not included). These were add ons but way cheaper than the tour packages found elsewhere. Also special thanks to Pak Catur for recommending the Bromo package. We enquired to Clover before the trip and he answered our queries patiently.
All in all, we definitely recommend Clover Homestay for those who plan on a short trip to Bromo or to explore beyond Surabaya. Matur nuwon 😊

This hotel is very good. The room is clean, the staff in the store are friendly, and the service is very good. However, toothbrushes are not provided and need to be paid.

Very nice staff, they sent a driver to pick me up from the bus station and arranged the tour to Bromo for 600K. Restaurant on the ground floor. The room was big, very clean and comfy. I would have stayed longer if I wanted to see more places in the area.

Clover Homestay can be seen as a place to stay only for the Bromo Mountain Sunrise Tour. So, those who are sensitive to cleanliness or hygiene may find it a little difficult.
For those people, it might be a good idea to pay a little more and find another place to stay.
However, as mentioned earlier, it is a place to stay for a short time for the Bromo Mountain Sunrise Tour, and the reception staff's professional tour explanation and breakfast were not what I expected, but they were delicious. (I ordered dinner separately, and it was pretty good.) And the staff kept checking to see if there were any inconveniences.

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Unfortunately, I didn't get any transfer or recommendations on how to get to Brom. I asked at the reception. The hotel is average, don't expect much. I can't say it's dirty, but like everything it's sad.
