In a small town near Taormina, it is convenient to drive.
It is said to be a four-star hotel, but it is definitely not comparable to domestic ones. The quadruple room has a side sea view.
Parking is free at the door, the hotel provides dinner, and there is nothing to shop nearby during the off-season. The supermarket needs to be driven about 3 kilometers.

We loved our stay at Hotel Rivage. From the moment we got there, the staff was so KIND and informative! We were offered a Welcome Juice upon arrival as concierge explained things about the hotel in English. It was very appreciate, as we speak mostly English, and it can be a bit intimidating to navigate travel through language barriers! Our room was clean with a nice view of the ocean. The decor is a perfect updated blend of comfort with a Sicilian vibe. We loved the quiet pool surrounded by citrus trees, and the lounge beds were a welcome bonus after a hot day at the beach. The restaurant was great with terrific food and the best pizza I have ever had! The breakfast was beyond with a great fresh selection! This was a wonderful value with a quick and free bus ride to Taormina. I would highly recommend Hotel Rivage.

Everything perfect starting with the staff especially the receptionists Tina,Guiseppe,Andre,and the restaurant manager Fillipo. Very clean and the food is amazing. Bus stop to Toarmina central is 5 minutes walk and so is the train station.

the worst. experience in decades of travellling. The hotel blatantly misrepresents itself in many ways. First, the is a huge building site behind it, with lots of noise and dust.Which room did he offer us? The room closest to the building site, of course! Total joke. Then the swimming pool is tiny and in shade. There are no loungers or chairs round it, despite *********** showing loungers and chairs.The manager couldn't explain that, simply saying they didn;t allow furniture near pool.This is blantant misrepresentation. The adjacent area was nest to the road, where the site lorries passed every few minutes, making extreme noise and throwing up dust. There is a pool across a road, but this only had deckchairs, no loungers.And you had to wear a swim cap! He said it was compulsory in Italy.This is a lie, as we've been to Italy 22 times and never had to wear a swim cap. Ca you imagine having to wer a cap that lots of strangers have worn before? We asked for a refund but were point blank refused.Luckily I have got all my money back via my card merchant. DO NOT EVER THINK OF STAYING HERE.IT'S TERRIBLE.

Let’s start with the good. Pool is absolutely stunning, although small it wasn’t busy at all during first week of September. Breakfast was great in the morning. Staff were so friendly. Location was great - just a short walk from main ***** but far enough away it was quiet. The room itself was outdated, dirty and required some work. There was stains on the walls, the shower and sink didn’t drain properly so in the shower you were standing in dirty water. The bed was uncomfortable. The rooms are below reception/the pool so it feels like you’re in a dungeon. The room felt very dirty and outdated, which for the price, we were very disappointed in.

We have had an amazing stay here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. One day it rained and they gave us umbrellas to take for the day which I thought was very kind. Room was spotless and has really good air con and a comfy bed. The beach is lovely and you get free sun loungers with an umbrella. The pool areas are clean but we didn’t use them as we do prefer the beach. There’s lots of nice restaurants and bars within a short walk and if you would like to visit other areas it’s really easy and cheap to catch the bus. I would definitely stay here again and have enjoyed being here.
