geen airco op de kamer waardoor het er ook tijdens de nacht warm kan worden en venster opzetten veel lawaai wanneer kamer uitgeeft op begijnenstraat, men vergeet soms ook de kamer te kuisen

The room was very simple, the bathroom was cold, there is no heating. The hotel was full of construction workers occupying the breakfast room from 6:30 in dirty clothes and basically there was almost no choice for breakfast from 6:30. The hotel was more like a worker's dormitory. Since the reception is partially digitized, the receptionist is not available overnight or early in the morning, it was not possible to ask for a taxi, providing an advice, etc. So, for me and my colleagues it was really bad experience. The only positive impression was left by the Christmas decorated Mechelen.

Hotel in a lovely location but was not until booking confirmed that we were informed that that were no reception staff and we would have to pick up the keys from another hotel We had breakfast one day and had an issue sorting payment, someone from the partnership hotel had to come and sort, and although breakfast was OK, you can get a much nicer breakfast for a similar price elsewhere There was no kettle/cups/tea/coffee in the room The room was just about warm enough Had no pillows and that took a while to sort

2 kamers geboekt voor 3 personen inclusief ontbijt. Ter plekke aangekomen moet je voor 1 persoon nog ontbijt betalen. Totaal geen enige coulance van de manager. Betalen of je wordt niet ingecheckt, weinig keuze als de oudste gast 92 jaar is. Ramen van de kamer konden alleen draaiend open waardoor ze door de overgordijnen maar klein stukje open gezet konden worden. Geen airco wel een ventilator die een hoop herrie maakt. Kleine kamer en badkamer. Ontbijt okay maar geen variatie. Voor ons geen aanrader.

We verbleven 1 nacht van zaterdag op zondag. De ligging is heel goed, pal in het centrum nabij de Romboutstoren. Het interieur sprak ons niet meteen aan maar de receptie was hartelijk. De kamer was proper, maar de tv werkte niet, er waren geen koffie/theevoorzieningen en de kussens (slechts 1 per persoon) stelden niet veel voor, waardoor we niet goed geslapen hebben. Bovendien kon je het lawaai van buiten en van andere kamers/de gang goed horen. We hadden ook last van geurhinder van een restaurant nabij. Het ontbijt met zicht op de toren viel wel in de smaak, het is een beperkt buffet met verse producten, echter niet heel uitgebreid maar zeker voldoende en met genoeg voorraad die tijdig werd aangevuld. Uitchecken ging niet wegens geen aanwezigheid, wat vreemd om zomaar te vertrekken.

rustig hotel, goede ontvangst, wat voor ons nieuw was, was de sleutel voor het hotel en de kamer via de GSM waar ik toch wat bang voor was maar werkte perfect. Alles was zeer goed onderhouden en proper. zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Alle bezienswaardigheden zeer goed bereikbaar en dichtbij. Ideaal gelegen voor een weekendje Mechelen.

Goed hotel, mooie nette kamers Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Een aanrader om Mechelen te bezoeken Rustige overnachtingen gehad onder de sint romboutskatedraal in het centrum van Mechelen en kort bij alle bezienswaardigheden van het historisch centrum.
