At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.
The door lock is a bit difficult to open.. You have to try again and again to be able to.. The hotel lobby lights are a bit dim so it feels like a hotel esek2.. The rest is fine for this harva

I do not recommend this hotel if you want to sleep at the top of the disco. The music plays at night it's just awful 😨 I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights the first night was quiet, the other 2 nights were complete trash. Overall the hotel is gorgeous but the fact that they decided to combine the hotel and the disco is the dumbest idea. The owner of this establishment simply does not care about their customers

NNaomiThis is our first experience where we stayed at a hotel and we are not allowed to have an extra towels 🙈. We booked a family room, and it’s only had 4 towels while we ate a party of 6 included 2 little babies and 1 9 years old boy. So I called and asked if it’s possible to have 2 extra towels or at least 1 towels and the answer is a firm no with the explaining of the hotel SOP. I don’t even bother to argue cause I think it’s just senseless.
I tried to explained that we are a party of 6 and we have only 4 towels inside the rooms. But that’s the hotel standard and nothing they can do 🤦🏻♀️
It was my mom’s birthday so we have a cake ready and would like to surprise her on the early morning, however we forgot to bring the lighter. So I rang the operator and asked if they have any hotels matches, I also explained our situation why we need the matches on that time. But they simply said no. And then, I asked him if it’s possible to borrow one from the HK staff whoever are on duty on that day just to light the candle and return it right away.. but the operator said the only person that he knows smoking and have a lighter is off that day.
What a service!!!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😭😭😭
GGuest UserOverall service standards were impressive especially f&b staff Ivana and her team at breakfast cafe. Buffet breakfast was fabulous and value for money. On my day of check out there were multiple power cuts and house keeping and other guest floor service staff and even guest never cease to slam room door on entry or exiting. Overall house keeping and other service staff efficiency commendable including concierge who were very willing in their service. I will surly stay there on my next trip. Ivana showed exemplary leadership qualities and very hands on type of a person.
AAhmadRThis well-known hotel that has chain worldwide could be one of the best choices to stay in Medan. Its has a rooftop pool that view the Medan city. However, the toilet need to be clean properly as the dirty on the wall. Since its rated as 4 star hotel, its should be take care of cleanliness of the toilet and also the room wall. To get local food such as Famous Bakso and Ucok Durian, tourist could get it by walking or grab. Recommended
SSoloveraLocation are super strategic. Walking distance to many tourist attraction and malls. Safe for solo travellers to stay here. Room as per advertise. Great house keeping services. Feels being treated like a king here. All staffs very polite and always great you. Superb breakfast packages. The frontdesk services are well spoken English.
GGuest UserSo lovely! I stayed in a king junior suite which was great value for money. My room was spotless, it was such a treat to use the free toiletries, wear the robe and slippers, use the coffee machine and variety of coffees, sleep in the huge comfy bed and watch my Netflix. The restaurant has huge windows perfect for watching the sunset and the variety and quality of food was brilliant. I also loved the pool with fresh towels on the sun beds and waterfall feature. The best thing about it though was the lovely staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Only downside is it’s such a busy location, I didn’t venture out much I preferred the peace of the hotel. It’s not far from the airport though and the receptionist booked my taxi for me. I am definitely staying here next time I visit :)
GGuest UserThe room is clean and comfortable according to the standards of a three-star hotel and is also close to my destination. This will be my permanent choice next time.
GGuest UserSo, me and my husband went to medan recently and decided to stay in this hotel for 2 days. I would say that it ws NOT a pleasant stay. There ws this musty smell at the corridor and in the room. The building is not being maintained well, we can say. There ws cricket in the room .*scared the **** of me*.
Even from the start, the air cond ws nt cold enough and there ws so weird noise if we decrease the temperature, bt we wr told that its already at its maximum coldness and the noise will goes off in a while. Hahaha. As expected, the air cond ws nt functioning in the middle of the night. Hmmmm... we decided to shift to another hotel the next day.
So, please maintain your hotel, guys. 🙏 🙏 🙏
ИИгорь БушинNot a bad apartment hotel, relatively inexpensive, large room-apartment, good bed, balcony, large living room. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but delivery is five points. It is located in a good area, there are a lot of useful things nearby, from ATMs, malls, to restaurants and grocery stores. The area is safe, modern, well-lit. The reception staff was helpful and helped with a taxi to the lake. Toba, although you could use the Bluebird app (Grab refused to carry it). It seems like you can't smoke, even on the balcony, but if you really want to, you can :)) The only drawback is poor sound insulation from the street, sometimes night riders disturb your sleep.
YYau ZWGrand Sakura 4*Hotel is conveniently located near Medan Centerpoint and Railway Train Station. Excellent facilities such as 2 restaurants, services booking counter, tidbits selling counter, 2 elevators lift and a team of friendly concierge staffs dressed in Indonesian Batik uniform. Buffet breakfast (7-10am) offered good Nasi Lemak and noodles. Do try the plain tea with sugar after a spicy meal to reset the palate. Decent standard room comes with fridge, safe etc. However, an unconnected WIFI as a results I had to use my 4G data mobile hotspot for my laptop and the room power socket points are few.
Nearby spot a crowded and delicious eateries outlet (KUPI) runs by BAI Train where you can try Indonesian foods, DimSum and Western. Do make order payment at the centre counter before proceeding to inform stalls. I did it with Google Translate App. (Eng to Indo)
Pics also shown my preferred room drink and biscuits available at Medan supermarket.
GGuest UserService was good. I requested to change my towel on my checkout day coz the towel they replaced the previous day was not water absorbent. Though they had to ask their manager since it was my c/out day, luckily i was able to change. At least i dont have prob to wipe dry myself!😆Location of hotel is so nearby evrything! Convenient shop, mall, train station, eating place. The only cons about this place is that the main road was soo noisy even during sleeping time. And it’s soooo difficult to cross the road! This is my second time staying at the hotel. Room is a bit rundown. Old hotel i guess. But overall, it’s a gr8 place to stay at.
The average price for hotels in Medan is AED 106 on weekdays, and AED 111 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
