We were very disappointed with this hotel. For the money one pays you would expect much more. The reception staff are not friendly and helpful. They gave us a room that had constant drilling and construction going on above us. We asked for another room but they didn’t help us with that. We booked a courtyard facing room only to find that we have a view of dust, paint and building equipment. The paint smell was so strong it caused us all to get sick. The room was very cold and one could not get it warmer. They advertise it as 6 sleeper so one would expect more chairs in the apartment. Also only provided 2 mugs and maybe 1 or 2 knives and forks. When we dial guest services they never answer. Eventually when they do answer they cut you off and don’t allow you to even complain. The location was great and the beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Sadly I will definitely not return to this hotel.

We stayed for three nights in the Executive Suite with City View and Maid Room. While the rooms were decently clean and the suite was spacious, the experience was frustrating due to a critical issue: there was no hot water in the suite. We reported the problem to the staff on the first day, only to learn they were already aware of it before assigning us the suite. Despite repeatedly requesting a room change, they kept delaying, promising to address it the following day. Unfortunately, none of the promises were kept over the entire stay. The lack of hot water in the middle of winter made it extremely difficult to shower, as the water was barely lukewarm at best. Knowing the issue in advance and still putting guests in non-functioning rooms is unacceptable. This experience significantly detracted from what could have been a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I hope the management takes such issues seriously in the future.

Was initially Really happy with our suite and our haram view - the amenities were great and the proximity to the haram fantastic - BUT - if you want to rest after fajr this is impossible - unbearable noise with construction work going on the floor directly above our room. Absolutely ridiculous how you can pay thousands of pounds and received such a shambolic service - how it is legal for work to start from 7am is beyond me - I would rather stay a few blocks behind and have a guaranteed sound sleep than stay here again. Our room was changed after my husband really kicked off as we were travelling in a group of 11 which included young children, and 2 suites but the room we changed to was even worse, the electrics didn’t work, the AC wouldn’t switch off, the lights wouldn’t turn off, 6 different engineers visited and it was never resolved we had to sleep with our jumpers on and we all fell ill. How this is legal for a hotel to operate in this way is beyond me. We didn’t receive any water, towels or any room service for 2 whole days!! The renovated rooms were beautiful, but our experience was a nightmare - never again! I read reviews which read similar but thought they were just moaning but this was my worst experience in any hotel and if consider myself to be a well travelled person. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

It’s after esha the room has not been cleaned . And even if you contact reception they say they sending someone and no one comes. Terrible service I booked a 3 bedroom and two one bedrooms. The three bedroom which is an 8 sleeper has two chairs for 8 ppl. One of the other bedrooms had no hot water . They checked us in knowing very well that the rooms hot water is not connected . And no one was prepared to help. Outside was advertising rooms available but they tell us they can’t change the room cos hotel is full!!!! Baby got sick due to washing with cold water . Very disappointed considering we paid so much for the hotel. After two days then the room was changed . The sort in the bins just lie around the whole day. Most u hygienic . What is most annoying is they promise yes yes we will send someone and they don’t !!!! And now all they will reply sorry for ur experience we aim to please our clients etc etc . I don’t belive this is true of Taibah suites anymore !!!!!
