Holiday Resort Medveja

Our Family has been camping in Medveja since 1956.Beutiful nature vith specific microclimate,very clean sea, nice and helpful staff and great atmosphere. Safe pleace for kids. Once Medveja, always Medveja.

AMAZING camp site. Will definitely come back. Lots of grass. Located next to beautiful mountains. My favorite camp site in Croatia for sure. The staff were really helpful and friendly.Lots of grass to pitch your tent or mobile home. Hope to come back soon :)

lovely camp near the beach, peaceful, surrounded with nice nature. we stayed in bungalows under the biggest istrian hill from where you can go hiking. the accomodation was clean, cozy with nice view. the staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Nice “little” camp. A lot of natural shade under the trees. We camped with a tent. Evening/sleep temperatures 21-22’C, during the day 29-31’C. Kamp has mobile houses, single rooms, free zone camping and standard pitch zones. They offer a rent-a-refrigerator, washing machines, camper service and chemical toilet disposal. Beach is on the other side of the main road. Its nice (pebble rocks), lots of kiosks and bars, natural shade and rent-an-umbrella. Camp provdes a “safe” passage under the main road (great for kids to cross). About 70m away, there is a local Market shop (Konzum). Quite stocked with everything you might need (vegan options too). Camp staff and reception is nice and willing to help you with your needs (they loaned me a power converter for free). Clean toilet and showers. We were quite satisfied with this camp.

I have made reservation of plot in camp Medveja a month prior our arrival. When we got there the fun started: At first, they told us we should find the plot ourselves and come back with its number. Although it seemed a bit odd at the time – since we have made reservation – we went on search. After searching the campsite, we returned without plot, since all the plots seemed to be already occupied. Only then did they inform us, that, yeah, all the plots are taken, but we can park ourselves on “free” land. Wherever we want – they will even lower the price. Because they got customers all the time and they are not intending to tell them to live prematurely. I told them, this is not OK. We booked the plot, because it was what we wished for and were ready to pay for it. We didn’t just want to be parked somewhere. We carefully choose our date, because you don’t get your yearly leave whenever you want. It’s not like you go on vacation every other day. It is a one a year event. Their answer – we can’t help you. I’m not returning. Although I am lucky to live only a couple of hours away. But my holidays are still ruined.
