We had a room which was very basic and old. Very poor for the price and not good value. We also had a room with a massive tree in front of the windows. When we asked if we could possibly move to a room with a better view was advised the rooms with a good vein were dirty and the cleaner had gone home. You would think if they were actually focused on the guests they would allocate best, not worst, rooms first. Don’t stay here!

Bad start at check-in at the reception where they wanted to charge much more for our room than we had booked through ***********. But after some diskussion we ended paying the right price. Breakfast very modest and not the price worth (18 €)… the bread was not fresh, no eggs and limited selektion of cheese/meat. The worst was the lack of air conditioning in the room and noise from the garden from young people partying until 3:00 am. We should have known about the lack of a/c (as *********** informed about this) but we did not take notice of this - and one would expect a/c in this area of France. All in all is this hotel not good value for money - even though the location by the lake is great

On the positive side: 1. The location is premium. 30 steps from the Hotel door and you are in the lake waters. 2. The staff is attentive and nice.(although it is hard to say who is who as they wear no uniform) The rest is unfortunately is negative. 1. The rooms have no air-conditioning. In the 30+ heat sleeping becomes a nightmare (They should have offered a table fan or something to move the air around). 2. There is no refrigerator in the room, which adds to the heat-problem. 3. Breakfat is just bad. Dishes and cutlery are often badly washed. 4. Maintenance is not good. When coming through the door to the elevator a guest should not be met with the smell of the toilet. 5. Stay away from the hotel on saturdays. The party outside will go on to 4-5 in the morning. As the hotel sits right on the lake, hords of people stream to the lake on weekends. This can occur any day, actually. Since you are forced to sleep with the windows opens you will wake up very early, when garbage removals will come in the morning, Not coming back, unless drastic changes tae place.

Despite the beautiful location of Le Pavilion des Fleurs, this was a very poor experience. My daughter booked an apartment for three adults, which seemed very reasonably priced, for one night. Apartments are in a separate building. Turned out ours was an accessible apartment on the ground floor. On opening the door, we were met by the smell of drains. There was no toilet seat on the toilet. In the corner on the floor there was a riser seat for use by a disabled person- wasn't going to touch or use that. The outside of the toilet wasn't particularly clean. The sink plug was closed and could not be opened, although the water did drain away very, very slowly. The WiFi did not work at all in the apartment. We have three different mobile phone providers and none of us could access the WiFi. My daughter went to reception to report the problem with the sink, the smell of drains and the lack of WiFi. The receptionist knew about the sink plug, but hadn't chosen to mention it previously. We could not be moved because the hotel was reportedly full. It was late afternoon and he said it was too late to call a technician. He said he would have a look while we were out for a walk. As for the WiFi, he couldn't understand why we were having problems and said the President of the Hotel Group was in one of the apartments and she was able to access the WiFi. No discernible improvements on our return. Before going for dinner, we called at reception, which is staffed at very limited times. No refund could be given as only the Hotel Director could authorise that; he was on holiday and not contactable. We were offered free breakfast, which is €14 per person, but declined because we were so unimpressed with our experience thus far. We managed to cure the smell of drains by flushing a lot of water down the shower drain. The shower is a wet room type and lives up to its name as the floor gets soaked every time. The shower is far too small for an able bodied person never mind a disabled one. The skirting board near the door into the bedroom is clearly water damaged from the regular flooding in the room. The design of the apartment (supposedly for 3-4 people) is poor as the access to the bathroom is through the only bedroom. On a positive note, both the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen area is bereft of anything useful, like washing up liquid, a cloth, or a tea towel. When we tried to make a cup of tea, there were only two teacups, so my daughter had to make yet another trip to the main hotel for another cup. There was no hairdryer provided contrary to what is advertised, so in the morning, my daughter went to reception for 9.00am, when reception is supposed to open, to request one. The receptionist turned up 10 minutes late and my daughter wasn't the only one waiting. My daughter has since emailed the Hotel Director twice and completed the satisfaction survey, but had no response whatsoever. We would not return and would not recommend thi

I had an exceptional stay. The lodge is 2 steps from the lake. The view is magnificent. The staff is very friendly. Everything is included, food, paddle, theme evenings, guided hikes... The rooms are comfortable, the food is good. It is not a hotel, it is a holiday village that aims to be friendly, financially accessible and socially mixed. The bet is successful. I recommend

Excellent stay in this superbly located lodge on the edge of the lake and completely renovated. Very warm atmosphere thanks to the manager and all the staff who do their utmost to satisfy customers. Everything is perfect, balanced and refined cuisine served on the plate, entertainment that meets our expectations, varied both sporting and festive. We recommend without hesitation.

If the room is spacious and pleasant, with a beautiful view of the lake, and the breakfast is copious, the rest leaves something to be desired. Indeed, (is it due to a lack of staff?) but first we had to wait half an hour upon our arrival with several other guests for someone to appear at the reception, it was 5 p.m. We had to go up to get a member of staff on the floors! They seemed overwhelmed, some rooms were not ready. Then, no towels in the bathroom (well it's not a big deal, they were brought to us quickly once requested.), but above all, NO duvet cover, this one was stuck between 2 sheets! I have never seen that! And the big downside for us is that the toilet bowl was stained with dried urine and the shower walls were dirty! We had the impression that the cleaning had been done in a hurry! In summary, a nice location but the quality is not there.

This hotel is catastrophic, it's not worth the price. I went with my husband and our 8 month old baby, reservation made for two adults and a child. We arrived at 3 p.m. no bath linen available because not yet washed, we received the linen at the end of the day still damp, the room no air conditioning an oven, we have a double bed for 3, no travel cot nothing. We hear all the noise from the other rooms, the corridors. The shower overflows because it is blocked, risk of falling +++ The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The breakfast is especially not worth its price because at 9:15 a.m. half of the things are no longer available, knowing that it only ends at 10 a.m.
