Hotel Weis

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at Hotel Weingut Weis. As the saying goes, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. The first impression was excellent. We were greeted at reception very professionally, and the registering was very quick and efficient. We were then shown to the lift, with instructions of how to get to our room. The room was outstanding. My wife has mobility issue and the room was ideal for her condition. At night, for safety reasons, she uses a walker. The bathroom was very spacious, so she had no problems maneuvering. The bed was very comfortable, and there was sufficient storage space. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, there was definitely something there for everyone. We were visiting friends in Mertesdorf, and they invited us to dinner at the hotel. The waitstaff were very professional and attentive, and the dinner was excellent, and the wine was also excellent. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, and when we visit our friends again we will definitely stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff are bilingual, and are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options and a wide variety of items to choose from. Parking was free and easy. Great views of the vineyard and very good wines. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel Weingut Weis gets the best recommendations from our stay. Parking a car with the possibility of charging is, if you know the Mosel area, a big advantage. The welcome at the reception was friendly and precise. The rooms are not the biggest, but most have lovely balconies overlooking the vineyards. Unfortunately, the rooms are not soundproofed, so everything can be heard between the rooms. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel with a small but good selection of local dishes. And not to forget the most important thing, the large selection of really good Riesling from their own fields.

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. Friendly welcome at the reception, lovely quiet room with balcony overlooking the hills. Comfortable bed (pillows a bit soft though), nice clean bathroom with walk-in shower. Friendly, efficient staff on the terras where we had our evening meal which was really delicious. Good breakfast with a large buffet selection. At the hotel, you can also buy wine from the weingut - that's also very good.
