Romantic Hotels in Metropolitan City of Naples

I highly recommend this hotel with 10 points. The quality of cleanliness, scenery, room equipment, and staff is also 10 points excellent. There are different restaurants in the hotel for guests to choose from. There are also different breakfast styles every day, so you can choose from them. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far away and you may need to take a car to get there. But all in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The Hotel has a good external structure, with an excellent swimming pool and pleasant views. However, old room facilities, bad bathroom and clogged shower drain. I asked 3 times to unclog the drain and nothing. Needs a good interior renovation, especially in the bathrooms.

Stayed for the second time, the location is very good on the edge of the seaside avenue in the city center, this time the hotel has been renovated, more beautiful, very comfortable, is one of the best hotels in Naples, will choose here in the future

Hotel location is great, especially after the refurbishment, the room design is strong, the space is large, clean and tidy, the items are complete, and the service staff are warm and friendly. Standing on the balcony of the room, the sea and the sky are the same. The restaurant on the top floor has a wide view and a variety of desserts. I didn't want to see the seagulls on the window sill. I was quite cooperative with me to take pictures. I added a little fun. I drank an extra cup of coffee. I especially liked the guy in charge of the restaurant that day. The service was patient and thoughtful!

The hotel on the cliff has a particularly beautiful scenery. The service staff is friendly and thoughtful, full of details. The hotel breakfast and facilities are of good quality, making us feel at home. It is highly recommended 👍👍. The room is clean and tidy, and toiletries are available. What a big surprise! I lived in a mansion more than 100 years ago. The indoor floor height is 5.5 meters, the floor-to-ceiling windows are 5 meters high, the decoration is very high-end, the old marble floor, the big pattern is very beautiful (unfortunately I didn't take pictures), the room is very clean, because it is close to the inner street, very quiet, sleep at night for 9 hours before waking up. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Naples, I still want to stay at this hotel. The handsome landlord is very sunny and cheerful, which has added a great deal of goodwill to the locals!

Wow what a place! This is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing staff. You are met by the most welcoming and helpful staff. Ensure you use the free taxi service to get around which was an amazing addition to the trip and made life easy. The room was gorgeous with incredible views of the island. We were upgraded to a too. With a hot tub which was incredible! All the staff were always gathered for any request and couldn’t do enough for you. They were kind and attentive and gave some great suggestions when it came to visiting the island and dining. The box of toiletries you’re given on arrival is perfect for any ladies travelling as you don’t need to think about a thing. This is highly recommended and we would definitely go back

The sound insulation is very poor, the location is in a remote point, but not far from the train station, walking is also convenient. There is access control in the middle of the night, and the security can be. The overall recommendation is average. Service attitude is very good.
