Hotels near Constitution Plaza, Mexico City

This is the second time to stay at this hotel. I traveled to Mexico six years ago and was deeply impressed by this old hotel. . . The internal environment of the old hotel is impeccably beautiful, but the facilities in the guest rooms are too outdated. The security scope of the gate square has been ”expanded”, and it is not very convenient to get in and out to call a taxi~

The hotel is located deep in the pedestrian street of Constitution Square, which is relatively quiet and only a five-minute walk from the square. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helped to book a taxi at a reasonable price (we were ripped off when we took a taxi on the road, and the driver asked for a sky-high price).

Location is amazing! Old catholic cathedral just in front of it, 2 min to Maya museum, 1-2 min to stores, 30 sec to tour bus stop, 10 min to bar streets. Not bad breakfast, like a bonus - nice bar on rooftop. Friendly and helpful stuff. A room is not so clean, no outside windows, you can feel a lack of air a little, but there is a fan in a room. Hot water, locker. What else do you need for such price)) oh, there is a public kitchen, public coffee maker and fridge are available.

The front desk explained that the room type was different, saying that we were now staying in a ”deluxe room” and I renewed the ”ordinary room”. Because I didn't move, I had to pay the difference. Is there a smaller room than this? Don't you have to crawl in and out? Moreover, the booking interface of Ctrip always has only two room types: single bed and double bed, and never has the words luxury or ordinary. Downtown hotels with similar hardware are much cheaper. Or hotels with much higher grade at the same price. Although the restaurant's value-added services are good, it's not worth it considering the price difference. The next hotels were also pitfalls. Ctrip's overseas hotel ratings have problems.

AGreat location, cool place which looks like a restaurant at the ground floor. 2 small swimming pools but no kitchen, so can’t cook. Nice people around. Beach gym at 5 minutes of walking.

The location is very good because the subway station is just right next to the hotel. The room is simple but clean. There are many good restaurants nearby.

We arrived in the early morning. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. The room size is OK. The toilet and shower are together. There are 24-hour convenience stores nearby (Xoox is the most common convenience store in Mexico, and there is also 7-11). I took an Uber from the airport for 190 pesos, which was not bad.
