I was booked to stay in the small double room, but the landlady upgraded me to the larger room, saying that she felt that it would be better for me. The room was large and spacious, with a fridge. A jug of milk is supplied for tea and coffee, and there is bottled water in the fridge, too. The landlady was very kind and most helpful and interested in ensuring i had everything that i needed. I only had breakfast on one morning due to my work schedule, but it was very well cooked and right on time for when I requested it. It is in a quiet location, but I would recommend it for anyone wanting to get away from it all or business people.

We had a fantastic stay at The Hillside Bed and Breakfast in Sandford. The facilities and the food were outstanding and the host was amazing We cannot recommend this place highly enough. We as a family look forward to visiting again.

We visited to go to a family wedding. We stayed for two nights in the large double bedroom, and were very comfortable. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, cooked to order and with a great selection. Sue was very welcoming and attentive - we recommend this B&B for visitors to the area.

I booked this at the last minute to attend a family celebration nearby and was lucky enough to have the family suite to myself. Sue is lovely - very welcoming. I appreciated the Tassimo machine rather than instant sachets, a jug of fresh milk in the fridge. I slept very well. Breakfast is cooked to order and very tasty. I walked to The Lamb nearby for an excellent dinner.

Can only praise Sue at the Hillside-nice spacious room-very clean-big bed and a delicious breakfast as well. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed on your stay. Left a piece of jewellery by mistake and Sue was kind enough to send back to us. As a bonus there is a pub just across the road and a very nice country park close by to stroll through if you feel inclined. All in all a recommended place to visit ..*****
