I usually don't write reviews, but here I go. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over this past year. I keep choosing it because it is the best value you can get in Midland. The area is nice. The rooms are always clean. They have a fitness room with actually equipment (treadmill, elliptical). They even have a washer and dryer, which cost money, but they gave me the washing pods to use for free, so I wouldn't have to purchase any from the store. The breakfast is pretty good with eggs and sausage. A big pet peeve for me is hotels having inoperable ice machines. I never have that issue at Baymont. Lastly, the employees are hospitable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling through the Permian Basin.

I enjoyed my stay. Dora was excellent, she was friendly and informative. The breakfast was great. not many hotels have the hot breakfast and actual daily cleaning and this hotel provided what i needed during my stay. It is an older hotel but the housekeepers did a great job during my week stay.

Upon arrival, there was no attendant present in the office. You had to call a number on a sticky note and wait for the employee to arrive, kind of frustrating but no big deal. Once he got us checked in, we moved to our room and that’s when everything went downhill. The room was DISGUSTING, smelled horribly of cigarettes and mold, almost as though it was used as an ashtray and then flooded before allowing it to sit for weeks. Dead cockroaches all over the floor, and living roaches running around the room to welcome us, YAY right? Needless to say, after taking in the shock of the room we just received, we turned around and went back to the office to request an alternate room or cancellation (had to do the silly call and wait process again), when employee arrived, an alternate room or cancellation was denied. We then decided to simply check out and leave to go find another hotel in town (didn’t stay at the La Quinta at all), shoutout to Wyndham garden hotel for providing an amazing experience that La Quinta did not. We were denied refunds, and had a horrible experience here. Property itself is equally sketchy, pool is drained and full of trash, a lot of sketchy folk walking around the property as well. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Very good value for money, when booking, it is said that it does not include breakfast. In fact, breakfast is open to all guests. It is quite satisfactory and not rich, but it is also OK. Bay fruit, sliced toast, cake, jam butter cheese, yogurt, milk, orange juice, coffee, sausage bacon scrambled eggs, oranges, apples, Enough to eat. There is another restaurant in the hotel, you can order food to solve lunch and dinner.
