Very convenient hotel for its location, 2 steps from CityLife and Milano Fiera to be clear. There are many restaurants and pizzerias and services around. Also the charging station for electric cars.
I paid for a single: very soundproofed room; very uncomfortable bed; no mattress cover; cool room thanks to the convector heater always on; bathroom with unacceptable toilet flush in 2023 (a lever to turn to close and open the flush); breakfast to be reviewed.
I advise the owner to "dust off" the whole hotel and keep up with the times.

Location is great for transport, food, central Milan. (We walked most). Staff friendly and breakfast was adequate (nice coffee). Neg- would not be good if working or need to stay in hotel during day as the air con is turned off from 9-5 each day! (Milan summer is hot). We loved the hotel but could see how it would irritate someone who has to stay in their room to do a couple of hours of emails between the hour of 9-5. Room are are basic but have everything you need. Last- shower is good but small- think 3x3 and might be off putting for some larger built guests.

This hotel has some unexpected RULES. Room is just small enough so that two people are about one too many. Breakfast is good with varied selection, and a good automatic espresso machine. I was chastized by staff for taking food /coffee to the room. Wifi works well. But aircon only works starting at 6pm, even by request. Thus working in the room on a hot day is unpleasant or even impossible. (Unscreened windows mean you choose suffocation or insect bites.) Housekeeping (repeatedly) enters the room with a key without even knocking or announcing themselves, which is actually weird.

My husband recently stayed at the Hotel Losanna for one night as he was attending a business conference at the Mico Milano Conference centre. He could not give this quaint little hotel a more glowing review from the perspective of the location, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, especially as he flew in early morning and needed to freshen up (the room was made available to him) and left the following day late for a flight ( he was able to freshen up before his long flight back to South Africa. Hotel with an excessive cost for the service offered. Clean rooms and bathroom, but perhaps it needs small renovation works on some details. Average breakfast. The evening staff speaks little Italian, which caused some misunderstandings, very kind instead the ladies of the day shift.

Extremely expensive hotel for its category. €180.00 per night is literally outrageous for a 3-star hotel that is also very far from the center, especially when compared to direct competitors. From Piazza Cavour to the hotel it took me about 35 minutes with Tram number 1, just to give you an idea of how far this hotel is from the center. The breakfast buffet was really poor, I would dare to call it cheap. All industrial products of very low quality bought at the discount store. There is no food warmer at the buffet to keep the food always warm. Not even a hint of bacon. There was an omelette that was clearly from a laboratory and not homemade, placed on a plate without it always staying warm. When checking in I pointed out that the TV was not working well, that is, the signal would disappear from time to time and that a technician would be needed. The channels come and go. I also had to point out twice to reception that the safe in the room was not working and that the batteries just needed to be changed. Probably in this hotel they don't know what the handover is between the colleague who finishes his shift and the colleague who starts his shift. It seems that the staff does not work with passion for this job but only to get the salary at the end of the month. Working in a hotel I immediately notice this type of employee.
