I have just spent a week and a half with my good friend from school touring Italy and we kept note of all the pros and cons of each place we stayed. Here’s Hotel Adelchi: Pros: - The location was decent. It was a short walk to metro and city train which didn’t take long to get into the main parts of the city at all. - There were plenty of food and drinks places nearby. We managed to get into a busy nearby bar and meet some friendly university locals which was good fun as we are of similar age Cons: - My biggest annoyance was the room. I had requested two single beds when I made the booking but when we got there we had a double bed. I brought this up to the man in reception but he said they messaged me on *********** saying they had to switch to a double. Now, I didn’t book this through *********** so I don’t really know what he meant so I checked what I did book it through just in case he got confused and I got no message/email to tell me they switched the rooms. They couldn’t do anything about it so I was like aight fine at least we’re close enough friends. - The shower was in the corner of room and the shower pipe was dangling in middle which was really hard to avoid. - We were in a ground floor room which didn’t feel too safe as the front doors were open and anyone could’ve strolled in tbh. Luckily, there was a metal frame over the window facing the street. We paid cheap, we got cheap. The location made it worthwhile. The room situation was annoying as it would be for a couple but we just ****** it up as we spent most of the time out and about. I would recommend this hotel if you’re on a budget

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this time I have to. I had booked a non-refundable weekend in May with two friends but with the option "possibility of changing the date in case of unforeseen circumstances" we notified the property, three days before the date of the stay, that we could no longer reach it due to cancellation of trains due to a regional emergency due to the flood, the situation we are in. The structure did not help us in any way, despite this situation and the notice. I would like to point out that Booking expressly told us that free cancellation, in this case, depended on the hotel.

For 411€ room a stone's throw from the reception, overlooking the sidewalk and the entrance stairs. Shared shower in view of the WHOLE ROOM no privacy and the WC outside the room? Television no Functional at the base, parking was planned in the reservation then finally once there we learned that we had to pay 15€ for parking PER NIGHT!! Aldelchi Hotel FLEE!
