Hotels in Certosa, Milan

It was nice and clean. Easy to find. A little bit far from the main city attractions however the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The station is like 8 minutes walk.

Everything was good. The receptionist were all so welcoming and very friendly. The room was excellent! I just really don’t like how the waiter treated us when we came to have breakfast at 10:37 am (the breakfast time was 07:00 to 11:00). We asked if we could still get something before the closing time, he seemed really disappointed and a bit mad but still they said it was ok. He was just looking at us, then when we were at the coffee machine he told us “just make it quick!” We got coffee and a mini Brioche then left quickly, it wasn’t even 10 minutes, but we were so uncomfortable about him looking at us and seemed so pissed about us arriving at that time. We’re sorry for the inconvenience for the staff at the breakfast area but it says when it’s sunday, it will be close at 11am we didn’t think you’ll start cleaning at 10:30 and if you had a problem with us arriving late, we’re really sorry but you could’ve said that you can’t accept us anymore, or at least you could’ve talked to us in a better way and tell us to be as fast as possible.

Really happy with all the services. Nice pool, beautiful rooms, all the people working there were really kind. The bathroom is really nice, the bed was super confortable. The two little black spot would be that it’s bit far of the center of Milan, and the subway is not near the hotel. And the view from my room, wasn’t really nice. Over that, everything was perfect !

The hotel was very clean. Receptionists we're all super helpful and fantastic. The location was good for me but far from Milano Centrale, which is where I needed to be. There are 3 restaurants across the street. All 3 super busy and food was great. First night, I went to another restaurant in Piazza Firenze, which was also great. About 300m there is a lot of public transport to various areas of Milano. Like a tram to Cadorna, for example. Area doesn't look too safe at night, but I am a single woman and had no problems walking around. I saw some policemen walking around. Maybe that helps. There is a nice little patio downstairs, but I was there for 5 minutes and the mosquitos were too close for comfort. I didn't ask the receptions for help, I am sure they would have giving me something but I was tired and just went to my room to see: Young Montalbano... 😉

Excellent hotel. Clean, quiet. Breakfasts are delicious. Came for the Justin Timberlake concert. It was right that the hotel was 3 km from the hippodrome, where the concert was. I walked back, as it was impossible to find a taxi. So, I recommend it. It takes 15 minutes to get to the city center by taxi. It was about 23 euros one way.

The room is spacious and very clean. The staff of the hotel were all very polite and helpful. Able to request for an iron and ironing is a plus. Another convenient service by this hotel is the free shuttle service to several locations, among others, Milano Bovisa Station that you can take to Milan Malpensa Airport (Monday to Saturday, 7.00 to 13.00). The breakfast spread has a selection of breads, cereal, cheeses, salad, yogurt, rice, boiled eggs and scramble eggs, desserts. The selection were the same everyday.
