***** What a brilliant place to stay! From the moment I arrived, everything about South Lodge was just perfect. It’s so peaceful and tucked away, but still really close to Milton Keynes, and your local corner shop is the fantastic Frosts Garden Centre! Julia, the host, is amazing—so friendly and helpful. She really goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. When I arrived, she gave me a proper tour and showed me how everything worked, which was really appreciated. Little touches like filtered water, fresh milk in the fridge, and homemade shortbread made it feel really special. The apartment itself was spotless and really comfortable. The bed was super cosy, and the bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making sure guests have a great experience. I loved all the original artwork. The garden is lovely, and it’s so quiet—it was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. There’s even EV charging, which is super handy. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. If you’re visiting Milton Keynes or the surrounding area, this place is a gem. I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back myself. Date of stay: November 2024

South Lodge accommodation is excellent, nestled in the peace and tranquillity of Cross End. Milton Keynes Central is nearby and the property is within walking distance of Wavendon and The Stables, Concert Hall venue. Host Julia is a great communicator and talks guests through all accommodation facilities on arrival. Accommodation is decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. This is a home from home as the property contains everything you need. Nice touches include filtered water and milk available in the fridge, and shortbread snacks too. Highly Recommended.

A Stylish Modern and well equipped apartment - you wouldn't know your in a city the gardens and surrounding areas are beautiful. We stayed to attend an event at the national bowl and was lovely returning back felt like we were in a spa! Julia the host makes you feel very welcome - the homemade biscuits were delicious! We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting MK

Beautiful surroundings and lovely support. This is my favourite place away from home for my work, everything in the room is high end, designed for comfort and style. Every minute staying here makes you feel special and cared for. Julia is lovely and very helpful with anything you may need. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to stay, we are a family of 4. Julia has simply thought of everything and is very accommodating to all our needs. Breakfast hamper was perfect, products in bathroom, towels, dressing gown.. We also appreciated the great design and thought that has gone into this project. I highly recommend

We were lucky to come across South Lodge when we were looking for accommodation prior to leaving the UK for Hong Kong. We have been staying in Air BandBs since February and this has been a great choice. The accommodation is really spacious with many double height rooms making the place feel wonderfully bright and airy. South Lodge is immaculately clean and beautifully well appointed, filled with super high quality finishes and some unexpected quirky additions. It comes together to create a really superb place to stay. The owners are friendly and accommodating and have a fantastic eye for detail which will help make any stay a pleasure. The gardens are a delight, ample parking and good reliable Wi-Fi complete the package. Location is great for exploring the countryside (great walks on the doorstep), fantastic local gastro pub is a 5 minute stroll and shopping and other amenities close at hand too. We only wish we could have stayed a little longer. Highly recommended.
