Nangoku Hotel

The building is by no means new, but it offers free bicycles, table tennis, karaoke, a pool and is the best hotel for enjoying entertainment. The room rate was not too high and both breakfast and dinner were all-you-can-eat delicious food, so I was very satisfied. There is a shuttle bus from JR Tateyama Station, so transportation is convenient, and it was a particularly great weekend in spring, when you could see the beautiful flowers. If you go by car, there is a large parking lot so you don't have to worry. I recommend the Western-style rooms as they are larger than the Japanese-style rooms.

This is a very classical hotel at the southernmost tip of Minamiboso. This is my second time using this hotel. I knew that there was a parking lot in front of the hotel and a second parking lot, so I went to the second parking lot before being told that the one in front of the hotel was crowded. I headed to the hotel with a relaxed look on my face, saying, "I know," and found that a third parking lot had been newly built in front of the hotel...? As expected of Itoen Hotel, the number of customers has increased. It was the time when the travel discount started, so there were many families checking in. From the lobby, you can see the majestic Pacific Ocean, and the sunset was beautiful. This time, I was able to get through to a large room, which was helpful, but the smell of cigarettes had permeated the room, which may have been a smoking room in the past. This was a shame. It was divided into two rooms, and the air conditioner was properly new and the room temperature could be adjusted. Dinner. I have decided to enjoy the poor access to the buffet venue, which is common in Itoen Hotel chains, as a part of the atmosphere. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the venue was packed and the menu was a bit lonely, and especially for young children, they only ate edamame, ramen, and rice. They were doing a beef & pork fair, but they couldn't keep up with refills, so I went to check it out several times and it was empty, so I gave up. I thoroughly enjoyed the beer with the stable all-you-can-drink. The bath has a spacious indoor bath, a sufficient washing area, and an open-air bath that you can't access unless you enter the indoor bath once. The temperature of the indoor bath felt hot to me, so I relaxed in the open-air bath while enjoying the night breeze. However, as other people have said in their reviews, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so you need to be careful not to get bitten while bathing. The room was only minimally cleaned, and the old facilities and poor fittings were noticeable. I've written a lot, but in the end, the staff are kind, my husband likes this hotel, and it's in a place with good access to tourist spots, so I'd like to use it again.
