"Booked a triple room but the room is not big, enough to live, if the weather is good, it must be very pleasant to drink tea on the balcony. Kurogawa Hot Spring Water is good, and the hot spring pool is both indoor and outdoor. The hot spring town is very lively, but it is basically closed at 6 pm. There are many hotels in the town and the business is good. The waiter's smile was very bright."

"It is far from the main area of the hot spring town. You need to climb the hill and walk for about five minutes to the main street. If you have large luggage, it is recommended to contact the hotel. The hotel's open-air hot spring is great. There are two Chinese ladies, and communication is barrier-free."

"The service staff are very kind and attentive. When checking out, the gentleman at the counter for other consumption amounts said that you cannot pay by card and you have to pay in cash, but there is a sign at the counter that you can pay by card and it does not say that you must pay in cash. I feel a little strange."

Accommodation) I stayed in the main building, and it was clean and had a charming traditional feel! There were not many people on the day we stayed, so we used it like a private bath, and there were men's and women's baths, 2 family baths, and a mixed bath. It felt like we had a villa with a hot spring hidden in the forest, so my friend and I were very satisfied. ＞＜
Kaiseki) They also served local specialties such as seasonal vegetable tempura and horse meat sashimi, and they gave us enough for a woman. The horse meat and plum wine were so delicious that I remember them.

The staff are very kind, and the hot spring facilities and room condition are the best!
I was able to try on traditional Japanese clothes, and the food was especially the best!
The food was really good, and they gave me so much food that I almost burst😂
I was lucky that my group and I were the only ones in the family bath and large bath, so I took pictures, but the hot spring for guests only is also amazing!
It was a good memory~ A lot of Korean tourists are going to Kumamoto these days, so if you're thinking about visiting a hot spring, I recommend this place👻
(By the way, there's a staff member who speaks Korean really well♡)

YYangpu-yifuThis hotel is a standard Japanese inn. The whole room is about 100 square meters, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private soup room. According to the administrator, the room can accommodate up to five people. The kitchen can cook by yourself. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee machines, pots and pans. The bus arrives, and it is only 90 meters away from Menglongdan. You can go in and contact the waiter. There will be a van to take you to Menglongdan Huabo. The distance between the two sides is very close. There are cars to take you to dinner time and bathing in the evening. Breakfast and dinner are kaiseki cuisine, with many varieties, which is worth experiencing. I wrote so much mainly because I asked Ctrip before. The so-called AI knows nothing about anything. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.

AA TseTop notch friendly front desk staffs with smiling face all the time. Service is excellent, they even help me to park my car and take my luggage to the room. My room has a private onsen and it was surprisingly big. The public onsen in the hotel is also very nice particularly the outdoor pool where you can hear natural water flowing sound from the stream below. The dinner was great even though I am not a big fan of horse meat. Cleanliness and tidiness is impressive. Breakfast was in Japanese style, but you can still have a cup of drip filtered coffee. Overall I love this hotel very much and will prefer to stay there if I happen to go there again.

GGuest UserRyokan Yumotoso is in a perfect location in the quaint town of Kurokawa. There are about 12 rooms only, hence its quite a quiet and small establishment. Service staff are all great, and the room view is fantastic looking over the beautiful river. The open onsen also overlooks nature, and private onsens are rustic. As per Ryokans, breakfasts and dinners are included, and so far, we have never been disappointed with food in Ryokans, including Yumotoso. Do note that parking lots are limited, and the lane leading to Yumotoso is rather narrow. Would recommend Yumotoso for its great location, fantastic room view and rustic environment.

TTo Eat and To TravelThere are many public and private bath to choose from in this ryokan. Plus you can get the kurokawa onsen pass (tegata) which gives you access to 3 external onsens in the town (most ryokans in town are participating) within one year of purchase of the tegata. We didn’t book dinner at the hotel, and used the diner time to try Nonohana お宿 野の花 and Ryokan Konoyu 黒川温泉 旅館 こうの湯, then next morning before breakfast I went to most of the onsens in the hotel, then after breakfast we checked out and tried Miyama Sanso 山みず木別邸 深山山荘, all four places (including this hotel) have amazing onsens and views. We drove so it was easier for us to try onsens far from the hotel, but driving in town wasn’t the easiest given narrow roads. The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the hotel, we kept the key with us for easy move around.

GGuest UserAlthough it was a pet-friendly room, I didn't smell any pet odor the moment I entered the room, and it seemed clean and well-cleaned.
The buildings are a certain distance apart, so I was able to relax without hearing the voices or presence of people in other rooms. A plus point is that you can freely use the sauna and hot spring!
Please note that the directions from the Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area require you to go through a very narrow road at the end.

AAishuijuedeyuyaThe dormitory is very clean and cost-effective. It is next to Hiranotai. The location is a bit difficult to find. You can see this white sign and go up. The boss is also very good, and he took me to the convenience store to buy food.
