The hotel is located in a very beautiful and peaceful area, with an interesting walking route and many points of interest around. The rooms are spacious, with a good balcony and lots of light. The beds, although not super comfortable, are good. Bathrooms need to be renovated and not just aesthetically. Bathtubs are no longer used these days… for older people or those with mobility problems, it is very uncomfortable. The indoor pool is very small, with little space for people as you can see in the photos. The Turkish bath and sauna are small but serve the purpose. Unfortunately it looks like a hotel in decline. You need to renew the decoration. The friendliness and attention at reception were impeccable. Breakfast was by far the most disappointing thing during our 2 night stay. Even very weak and does not match the 4 star rating nor the price paid for the room. Very little variety. Just a little better than a 2 star hotel. I've been to 3 star hotels with far superior breakfast experiences. I can't remember such a weak experience to be honest. Croissants and custard tarts. If you only eat sweets for breakfast, that's all you have. There is not even a coffee machine. The existence of a Nespresso capsule espresso machine is saved. But worse than the lack of variety was the service. Unfriendly employee and inattentive to basic details. The lack of cleaning of the tables, poorly washed plates and glasses, cutlery covered in marks, customers having to remove crumbs from the chairs, left by previous customers. I would also like to highlight the poor packaging of fresh produce, such as fruit, cheese and yogurt. Going to breakfast later you eat these ingredients hot. Things are placed on an unrefrigerated table right at the beginning and stay there until the end of the service. Also, the floor must be being washed incorrectly because all the customers' shoes were squeaking as they stuck to the floor. It's not a pleasant noise to hear first thing in the morning. The room is too old-fashioned and on top of that they don't use all the tables near the window for breakfast. The space is not so big that it justifies not taking advantage of all the windows.
