The Hotel Espiredis is family run, the owners were very welcoming, the breakfast was very good there was a good selection of different foods., to suit all tastes, even vegan. The rooms were spotless, the shower was good, the bed was so comfortable. The chamber maids were friendly and did a first class job. There was a pool and it was maintained well, Very inviting it was. There was ample parking at the front of the hotel and plenty of areas that were shaded from the sun. I forgot to mention, our room had a TV. and also had air conditioning, nice shower, gel and hand soap. I would recommend anyone staying there, there is everything you need at the Hotel and no shortage of warmth fom all the staff genuinely friendly, I love it. K. A. FORSYTH 22/9 /24 to 10/10/24.

We have just left here from a spontaneous 2 night stay, we were staying on the other side of the island and decided to take the car and explore. We have been to Myrtos a few times and love the village. We read many varying reviews and they were mixed, but for the price £65 for 2 nights we thought we’d give it a go. So glad that we did, owners welcomed us immediately and told us the WiFi password and gave us our room key. We stayed in room 232 which was rear facing and had some amazing reviews of the beautiful mountains. The bathroom was very modern and exceptionally clean, the shower power and hot water was the best we’ve ever had anywhere in Greece. Beds were comfy, small fridge in room & kettle, with mugs to make tea or coffee if you took them with you (not included) The soap in the bathroom was lush the smell just gorgeous, I hope to find the same to buy somewhere. Highly recommend this hotel for location, fantastic price and cleanliness to the place. Yes the doors and walls seem outdated but it didn’t put us off and we would definitely be back in the future and would book here again.

Good hotel in central Myrtos! Walking distance to tavernas and the local beach. We booked last minute and were welcomed with a lovely clean basic room. Thank you for an enjoyable one night stay - we will be back.

Currently a week into a 9 day solo trip to Mirtos and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. To start with the rooms. I was a solo traveller but was allocated a room with two single beds push together to make a double. I have a nice room at the back of the hotel with a stunning view over the mountains. The room itself was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The cleaning staff empty the bins every day and change the bedding every other. The aircon is great so the room is always cool. The fridge with small freezer is great and even comes with an ice cube tray. Also has tea-making facilities. The pool area is nice and private with ample sunbeds. I've had the whole area to myself for most of the week which has been great. The pool itself is unheated, and is very cold, but top tip is to have a cold shower (located next to the pool) first and then it doesn't feel so bad! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I made the mistake of leaving my USB plug at home so couldn't charge my phone at all but the hotel manager made a point of allowing me to borrow his spare USB plug for the duration of my stay. So grateful. Mirtos itself is stunning. The vibe is so chilled and relax and all of the local restaurant staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Even as a solo traveller I was treated with the same importance as tables of 10. So refreshing. I can't recommend Mirtos or Hotel Esperides highly enough.

We arrived on the first day of the season. Room spotless - simple but well lit, fridge, kettle and towels. Bathroom lovely with ample hot water and good shower. Good selection at breakfast. Excellent value in a lovely village
