4.7/5
Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat view for the sea view room. Private onsen not very convenient if us a raining day cause need to walk out if the building. As we came back late a bit late and most local restaurant need to book in advance. The hotel is kind to help us to reserve a table for us. The restaurant actually was full but the room was big enough to share a table with the local.
아아산치타I stayed in a dormitory for 2 nights. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were only two people in the dormitory. It was nice to take a walk around the hotel and there was a supermarket nearby. I took the train to downtown Miyazaki and it cost about 380 yen. I think it would be good for those planning a trip to the south. Take care everyone~
まままゆThe location was good, the bath water was thick and my skin was smooth after the bath without even applying body cream, and if I had more time and energy I would have liked to stay in more. The bath was small, so if I timed it well and entered when it was empty I could enter alone, which was nice, and it was nice that I could choose my pillow on the first floor and they offered free drinks. There was only one elevator, so it took time to go up and down, but if you have enough time it's not a problem! I also really liked that there was no key and it was a number entry type.
TthemeowmeowThe hotel is very close to JR Miyazaki and it takes about 8 minutes of walk to get there, so it is really convenient. The room is really big, and this is unlike most hotels in Japan in the city center. The only criticism is that there is no hot water in the showers. The waters are lukewarm at best, and hot water is really important in the winter.
CCHUANCHUNThe hotel is clean and tidy, and there are free drink machines. There are also meals in the hot spring area in the evening, so travelers can eat and drink without going out. I really recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserIt's about 20-30min drive into Miyazaki town but thats not the main reason why you'd choose this Hotel. It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day. The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas.
KKA CHEUNGMiyazaki Prince Smart Inn provides thoughtfully furnished rooms equipped with all the essentials. While the accommodations are well-maintained, the room size is a bit compact, and the parking instructions could be more user-friendly – areas where future enhancements would be welcome. The hotel benefits from a convenient location. Despite these minor points, the experience is worthwhile, offering accommodations with a sensibly designed interior. I look forward to seeing even better service in the future. For travelers who appreciate efficiency and practicality, Miyazaki Prince Smart Inn is a solid choice, offering a comfortable place to unwind. I hope to enjoy an even smoother stay next time.
SShoichiroThis hotel is clean and has good value for money, so I recommend it.
In terms of location, it's about a 20-minute walk from Miyazaki Station, but it's also close to Nishimachi, the downtown area in the center of Miyazaki city, about a 10-minute walk away, so it's not particularly inconvenient. The Miyazaki Prefectural Office is very close to the hotel.
As a hotel, it's not luxurious, but the rooms were very spacious and clean, so it was very nice.
I was also happy that they offered a mango drink and a mango ice cream as a welcome service.
Overall, it was a clean hotel with good value for money, and I would like to stay there again.
GGuest UserThe hotel location is great, it is right across from a plaza with restaurants and you can just park at the hotel and walk to the attraction (e.g. Aoshima Shrine, Devil's Washboard) for around 10-15 mins as you cannot drive into the attraction and you have to pay a fee to park close by which makes this hotel very convenient. The hotel has 2 onsens, one at the rooftop where you have to shower outside but the view is nice, one in the basement where it looks kind of old. The overall facilities are old like the other reviewers said, but it is very common with the style like this in Japan. Our room is Japanese & Western style with 2 beds, the room is kind of big to fit 2-4 pax. Staff was friendly and they will try their best to speak English. We enjoyed our stay.
GGuest UserGood location. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Boards can be rented. Unfortunately, a group of travelers did not respect the quiet rule in the sleeping area. It was quite loud for the duration of my stay. I would hope the hostel enforces the rules more strictly in the future.
The average price for hotels in Miyazaki is MYR 723 on weekdays, and MYR 857 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
