The Gran Resort Amanohashidate

We booked a Japanese family room and we arrived about 6:00 pm. Our room was on 3rd floor, when the lift door opens, a strong fishy smell. The corridor were not air conditioned and it was hot. Our room is at the corner, had a stale atmosphere. It still summer and weather is incredibly hot, it would be helpful if the staff had prepared the room and cool it before we arrived. AC is not working well, the room was still not cool when we slept. We could not rest well. The mattress & bedding were not comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Overall it’s not worth a night for SGD423.

The location was very good. There is a mall across the road where you can buy groceries clothes etc and there are several reasonably priced restaurants on the top floor. Also it’s like 10 mins drive to the Amanohashidate Viewland. The hotel itself does not have any restaurants but it supplies free coffee for in house guests. Parking is free and reservation is not needed. Staff were friendly and at least one of receptionists can speak English.

A 10-minute walk from JR Amanohashidate Station on a straight road! The Munju Bus Station bound for Ine is between the JR Station and the hotel! flat! There is a hot spring bath! The kind boss gave us a large room for 2 nights! Because of the unknown, I added an extra night! Not prepared! Although it’s so sloppy! You can apply it once by yourself! Average English! No boiler on the first night!

At that time, I had to go to Abridge to play and just found a hot spring hotel close to the station. I didn't expect a big surprise! Although the hotel is small but has all the facilities, the hot spring lounge has not only ice water, but also a massage chair TV and comics. We chose the sea view room on the first floor and actually brought a small courtyard. Morning and evening meal is the hotel's Kaiseki cuisine, exquisite and delicious. If you are a service, there is an aunt who is super enthusiastic. Others may feel like a family, but the overall is great. After dinner, it’s nice to go to the seawall behind the hotel!

The location is very good. As soon as you leave JR Amanohashidate Station, you can see it when you look up. It is very convenient to go to scenic spots. Although the hotel is older, it is well maintained and has all the necessary indoor items. The bathrobes provided by the hot spring hotel are available in different sizes, which is worthy of extra points. Breakfast is Japanese and Western style. The Japanese style is very traditional and delicious, but you can't choose meat style for dinner, which is not very good. My friend who doesn't eat beef had to give it to me. The prices of the goods in the store are the same as those in the attraction stores. The hot spring water in the foot bath is not too hot, but it is good to soak your feet and watch the scenery. In addition, although the room is not high, the scenery outside the window is quite beautiful. Of course only when the weather is good.

Amanohashidate old hot spring guesthouse. The owner is a casual person. From check-in to check-out, it is very free and there is basically no need to communicate. Check-in is very simple and it is very close to the pier on the side of Amanohashidate Kasamatsu Park. The service ladies are very simple and enthusiastic, which is very consistent with the beautiful scenery here. I will definitely choose it next time I come
