Second time staying here and won't be our last. This time in Modugno the challenge was finding somewhere suitable for a multi generation family (2 children, 2 parents and one grandmother). We wanted the children to have the independence of their own room but with the security and comfort of being in a neighbouring room on the same floor. This place was perfect. We had three spacious, clean, quiet and secure rooms and couldn't have been happier. The establishment is modern, clean, comfortable and well looked after. It is perfectly situated a stone's throw from the old town with bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Set within a quiet courtyard you are protected from the noise of early morning traffic if you want a lazy lie in. The style, arched ceilings, cascade showers, large windows and modern fixtures give the place an air of luxury. The coffee machine in reception is very welcome although for the English tea drinkers they could do with supplying some larger cups as well as the espresso ones. Breakfast, although not on the premises, is very near and has a good choice and a lovely welcome. It is lovely having the flexibility to go for breakfast when ready and not within a restricted time especially whilst travelling as a group. Rooms were cleaned and beds made up daily with fresh towels. The house keeper took the sweet step of arranging the children's bedtime teddies on their bed each day which added a lovely touch and made them feel very cared for. The rooms use 6 digit codes to get in which made for an easy check in but could be difficult for the older or very young generation but at least there is no room key to potentially loose. Having stayed a few times in Modugno to visit family, this is still our favourite place to stay and we can't wait to return. Thank you to Marco and the team who made us feel so welcome and at home.
