I was looking for a ryokan to stay during my vacation in Tohoku area of Japan and stumped upon this ryokan. It is located to a small onsen village of Yamagata prefecture. Traveling to this location is not so convenient as JR Rikuu East line has suspended its service. However JR East provides bus service instead. This ryokan is operated by Ogawaya family. They are very friendly and very attentive. They don’t speak English well but this not a big problem for me who cannot speak Japanese. They offer breakfast and dinner with additional cost but must be booked in advance. Location is not close to any big city. It is suitable ones who look for a quiet place to unwind. Highly recommended if you want to stay away from tourist areas.

Hotels in Yinshan Hot Spring are very expensive and difficult to book, so I booked this one. The price is affordable. After sightseeing in Yinshan Hot Spring, it takes about half an hour to drive there. To be honest, the hotel is really old. Don't expect extravagant facilities and environment. It is a good choice for a cheap hot spring hotel. The couple who run the hotel are very nice. Surprisingly, the price is not expensive, but the dinner meal is really good and worthy of the price.

The service staff are very kind and enthusiastic. The meals are delicious. Although the surrounding area is not busy, it is very quiet and relaxing. The room is Japanese-style and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the stream by the window. The hot spring temperature is very comfortable and comfortable. There is ice tea in the lobby. It feels very warm when drinking. This stay was a great experience and highly recommended.

瀬見温泉という場所があるのを最近になって知りました。 地図を見たら東へさらに進むと宮城県、そして有名な鳴子温泉郷。 国道沿いでアクセスも悪くなく小国川沿いという絶好なロケーション。 気がついたらネットで予約をしておりました（笑） この界隈では最も箱の大きなホテルで目立ちます。 館内は清潔で清掃もばっちすばらり！従業員さんも親切で笑顔が素敵でした。 お風呂もお料理もよかったです。 客室からは時折JRの列車のガタゴトという走行音が風情が感じられてよかったです。 同じ列車の走行音でも普段耳にしている音は煩わしいと感じるのにこの差は何？？と考え込んでしまいました。 これまで山形の温泉には外れなしですが瀬見温泉も然りです。 山形牛もご飯もおいしくて久しぶりに食時で感動を覚えました。 また遊びに行けたら最高ですね。

The front desk seems to be smart and not at all. It is natural to decide the meal time, but it is a mystery why there is a brand selection of the sake set at check-in. I think the front cap itself, which can only handle １ groups at once, is unavoidable, but while sitting in the lobby waiting for check-in, I don't write an accommodation card, and it is the government office or the bank that is called to the front desk in turn. Like. By the way, the quality of the hot springs is very good. The open-air bath is not a garden open-air bath, but a mountain inn with a good atmosphere. The staff is quite holding, and at the restaurant, the friendly Nakai prepares freshly fried tempura and small pots. However, unfortunately, it is not so much if it is said that the ingredients and cooking methods are unique dishes that can only be eaten here. Sake is not very generous as an inn in Tohoku. I don't think it's expensive. Also, this inn cannot use credit cards locally. The disappointment this time is concentrated on the transfer and the front desk, so the guests who can come by car may be a good impression. If the inn reads it, if there was a very good impression during the stay, I think that the area around the previous transfer was offset a lot, but in terms of customer service of the first and final impressions. It's lost. I highly recommend that you be in charge of a friendly person.

I headed there by rental car from Sendai Airport on March 25th. I arrived there in less than 2 hours using the expressway. A parking attendant was waiting in front of the entrance, so I dropped off my luggage and headed to the front desk. The front staff did a quick check-in. I immediately headed to try the famous Naruko hot spring. The public bath is located in Momijikan, and you need to walk about 60 meters along the connecting passage and change elevators. The large public baths for men and women were separated on the 1st and 2nd floors. The sulfur springs are my favorite and have an alkaline quality, so I was able to enjoy the real pleasure of Shifen Onsen. The food was served as a buffet and was very satisfying. We had Kaiseki at another venue called Juraku, and the portion was more than enough. The ankoro mochi, which is made in the live kitchen by the 90-year-old proprietress at breakfast, became my favorite so much that I ate it three days in a row. The second day was rainy, so we spent the day soaking in the hot springs. He brought me ``botamochi'' for a snack. I was impressed. The staff responded with a smile in all situations. It was a hotel where you could feel the spirit of hospitality everywhere. I can understand why there are many repeat customers. I have visited famous hot spring resorts all over the country, and Naruko Hotel ranks at the top in terms of overall strength.
