Everything was very good, the only bad thing was what I already told you about the reservation. Thank you

The hotel itself was very clean and the food was good although the dining room itself was chaotic, the entertainment in the evening was dreadful if you are English, we didn’t hear a single English song in 10 days it was all Spanish and 95% for children even though we booked away from school holidays, our room was situated with a nice pool view but the sacrifices was the noise of the screaming “entertainment” when you step outside the hotel in the evening it was a ghost town with literally nothing to do, not a shop not a bar nothing, I was with my 80 year old aunt and you couldn’t even go for an evening stroll as everywhere was in darkness, there was a bus stop outside the hotel where you could go to Pueblo market which was literally fake football shirts, handbags and stale perfume although very scenic but hilly, I cannot understand why Jet 2 would have this hotel on there books for English people, we were the only two English there. Worst holiday I have ever had.

Spent a week at this hotel and was glad to leave after the 7 days, the room (4038) we were given had a sagging, cracked and water stained ceiling, lamp fitting hanging off the wall, the view from the balcony was of the wall of the next door hotel, so we asked about moving rooms and was told we if we wanted to change rooms we would have to pay up to an additional Euro 150 so did not go for this. After a day or two, we had a constant sewerage smell (was advised to put all plugs in items in bathroom and keep seat down - didn't help) We also found the self service food to be lukewarm at all meals, even when we got there first. We were aware that this was a predominately Spanish booked hotel but found very few staff spoke any English and no announcements in English. Had good pools but if not half or full board, about a 10-15 minute walk to cafes/restaurants.

Went with a friend , the hotel was on the outskirts of Mojacar Playa near to the Golf course, so ideal for golfing holiday., and a bus does stop on main road near Hotel to get to the town It’s a big Hotel , over 1,000 people there and boy did we know , mostly Spanish people , it’s their go to place for holidays , they really know how to shout !! The Hotel was spotless, our room was very good size with a wrap round balcony as we had a side sea view, it was lovely to wake up to the beach view every day ! Food was good lots of choice however the Canteen( restaurant), was chaotic at mealtimes , it certainly wasn’t a pleasant experience at any meal!!! Noise level was horrific and how there’s not been an accident in that dining room is beyond me The staff were very friendly most had a limited command of English which I don’t mind as I like to use their language wherever I can Plenty of sun beds and for a deposit you can have pool towel Safes are in the rooms and are free !! The entertainment during the day and at night was Spanish , they didn’t explain anything in English so we didn’t know what was going on most of the time!! I would definitely visit Mojacar again but would choose a hotel smaller and nearer to the town

Spotless hotel in great location BUT !!! First the positives, the hotel itself is very large, spacious and spotlessly clean. Situated very close to the beach with handy small but well stocked supermarkets, the rooms are good sized with shower and bath, to and air con. Now the not so good bits if you do not get a sea view/pool view there is an upgrade charge of 8€ per person per night otherwise you will be looking at a car park or street. There is no kettle in the room, for a 20€ deposit you can get one from reception, no cups, tea bags or coffee are provided, it’s a trip to the shop for those. As mentioned previously the hotel is huge, 99.9% Spanish guests which we liked, this does mean however that there are a large amount of people everywhere all the time, it’s also worth saying that this is a very family oriented hotel, children’s entertainment provided, entertainment is very popular, excessively loud and goes on until 12midnight, every night. The restaurant food is of high quality with plenty to go round, you will have to queue though, school canteen style, the noise in the restaurant is akin to a public swimming pool, relaxing it is not !! In fact it’s pretty unbearable at times despite the staff being very efficient at service. The biggest problem for us in the restaurant is the language barrier, despite having Spanish written translation for serious food intolerances, it took six members of staff to give answers (which was embarrassing in front of so many people) I still was told a dish was safe when it most definitely was not as finally confirmed by the chef. This is really disappointing and also quite dangerous, it really needs addressing in either better labelling or staff training, it so nearly ruined our holiday. Overall a lovely place, not suitable if you are looking for a relaxing holiday unless you spend your whole time on the beach, fabulous if you are a family with children

Great stay for a family vacation. People are always amiable, lively and fun. I regret not having more atmosphere around the pool, with music and a bar. The hotel is spotless, has good views and the catering service is a brand of the Best Hotel chain.

My Mum and I stayed here for 2 weeks end of Aug..beginning of Sep..maybe for us it was in the wrong end of town..very quiet..very few bar/restaurants within walking distance. Had a very good bus service which stopped right outside the Hotel..Garrucha town and Harbour being at one end and Mojacar centre and Mojacar pueblo at the opposite end, other than that there wasnt very much around. The Beach was in front of the Hotel which was handy..and never crowded..plenty of sunbeds to sit on. I found the Hotel to be extremely noisy..especially in the dining room at meal times..it was very crowded as it was still school holidays in Spain..the food was very good and there was always plenty to choose from..it did very much cater for Spanish holiday makers..that said..everybody was very friendly..and welcoming..the staff in the Hotel were very good and friendly and always on hand to help you if needed. Some parts of the Hotel were a little dated..and needed a bit of TLC..the towels!..the bedrooms were large and spacious and we had a nice balcony..would i stay again..yes but maybe in a quieter part of the season.

We came here on a one night stopover whilst driving from Malaga to Alicante. Chose this place due to its beachside location and it offered parking, which is a rarity. Unfortunately when we arrived, the car park was full. The public car parks at the front and rear were also full, as were all the adjoining streets! so if you are driving please take this into account as it can be really tricky to find a space. Eventually I dropped the family and cases off at the entrance and ended up parking the car at the top of the beach like a lot of the locals had - not sure how secure that is! We booked a family room with two double beds. These were pushed together and very small (as was the room), so it felt like we were all in the same bed - doesnt make for a good nights sleep. They provide one bottle of water, but no bottle opener! Aircon just about works, and bathroom is functional with wall mounted soap dispensers. I would have been really disappointed to have booked this for more than a night, and would have ended up moving I think. The facilities and the swimming pool were very good, three pools all centrally located and seemed clean, lots of sunbeds piled up. Has inside and outside bar and entertainment areas, and the prices were cheap. I just got the impression that it was set up for Spanish only, and we only heard one other english speaking family. Entertainment was a spanish singer that went on til 11.15 and could clearly be heard from our room. Breakfast was absolute mayhem, ive never been in a larger, more full breakfast room. Finding a table was tricky and it was definitely survival of the fittest in there, the concept of queuing being alien to most! Food was decent enough and what you would expect from a buffet. Good location directly opposite the sandy beach, with a number of restaurants nearby, Definitely not worth £269 for the one night bed and breakfast we paid, wont be back here
