3-Star Hotels in Mokpo

Stayed 2 night in April 2019. The hotel is with in walking disctance from the railway station as well as the ferry terminal to various islands(10 min?). In the vicinity are various Korean seafood restaurants, seafood market and some tourist visits all reasonable walking distances, and there is a bus station near by. We visited the National Maritime Museum short taxi ride away and there is a fantastic permanent display of salvaged ship(s) and artifacts which gives insight of past history and seafaring cultural history of Korea/China/Japan from some 700 + years ago. There are other museums close-by but as we were late in arriving those were closed. Breakfast: Included but very limited by western or Korean Standards, Some eggs, bread, juice, cornflakes, some cut fruits, some cold meat & soup. Internet: Free & fast

It was clean and the location was good. It's nice that it's easy to find because it's on the main road, and when you park your car in the parking lot, you have to take care of the gaps between other cars. It's a parking lot on the side of the alley, but surprisingly there are a lot of cars. There is Mokpo Station nearby, so all Mokpo travel destinations are close. All in all, it's clean and the bathrooms are nice. Using a room with 3 beds, a family of 4, including 2 teenage sons, slept comfortably. You can also see the Yudal Mountain cable car from the room. The unfortunate thing is that I was bitten by a lot of mosquitoes even though there is a mosquito fumigator in the room! ㅠㅠ And even though the refrigerator is small, it's quite noisy, so it's not good for sensitive people. The bed is on the hard side, so it seems to suit Koreans well, and the bedding is clean, but it rustles a lot.

There is a reason why there are so many ribs. good or bad Eco hotels have a lot of good ribs. The facilities are old, though. The service is prepared like a 5 star. The bed is warm, the service is quiet, and I couldn't ask for anything more. I travel a lot around the country. It is especially better than most 4-star hotels. The only difference is that there is no front desk lady.

The Mokpo Zara was a super nice hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The manager on-site was very helpful and she took good care of us. I would definitely stay here again, whether on my own or with my family.

It is conveniently located in the center of the downtown area. There is a lot of good food around. This is a budget hotel. There is a coffee machine, microwave, milk, orange juice, etc. on the first floor. But it is a motel that is just right for the price. There is a loud noise in the hallway and the smell of cigarettes is unavoidable. This is a level where you can stay overnight at an affordable price.

The Mupo Station and the old city center are walking distance. It was so good for families to stay. Once clean, the quilt is also rusty, and the air conditioning, bathroom and kitchen facilities are great. Above all, it was nice to have two double beds and a spacious room. I was sorry that there was no parking, but I want to come again next time I come to Mokpo.
