Hotell Molde

The receptionist who did show me where to find the room, seems also to be working in the kitchen. He did not inform me much, but told about the breakfast offer on the other side of the street at KNEIPPEN. I could have a breakfast with a 15% discount over there after 9am. Unfortunately, I had already left by then. In the room which consisted of one sleeping room as well as a working room, there was good information in both English and Norwegian about the hotel. The lighting was excellent and the rooms must have been upgraded with new painting and furniture. The room was fresh and with nice colors. The bed was excellent and with wonderful pillows. There was no bigger screen to connect to your computer. This I missed. I did use the wifi with no problem. The bath room had a shower, but not a shower-corner, but shower with curtains. Dispenser with soap but no shampoo or hairdryer. But of course towels. The room had ample space for keeping your clothes outside your suitcase if needed. Outside the room, in a kitchenette, there was coffee and tea facilities. There was also a micro-wave oven. Inside the room there was a refrigerator. The hotel boasts open restaurant from 11am to 11pm, RØD BARE BLÅ. Kitchen is open to 10pm. Their fish dishes and fish soup is well-known. The hotel also has a night-club which did not disturb me.
