We stayed here for a wedding that was at St. Macartans Cathedral. The hotel is very elegant, the front desk staff was very nice, informative, and helpful. She helped us get into our room early since we were tired from traveling all day. The bed was one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom had a shower and separate tub. The restaurant onsite was fabulous with good food and drink options. There’s plenty of free parking. You can easily walk to the cathedral and town center. We also drive 15 minutes to Castle Leslie Estate.

Had Mother’s Day lunch at the hotel, dinner was unreal and service with a smile, and the price was reasonable, food is lovely at all times in the hillgrove, big function rooms hold plenty of room, the bar was also open to have a beverage or 2, highly recommended

It was an absolute amazing day from when we arrived till we left to go home The food was delicious with plenty to eat and the staff couldn't do enough to help as our wee boy has senory sensitivities We will definitely will be back again for a longer stay

We met our Son at the Hillgrove for lunch on Mothers Day. We chose the destination as a convenient location to meet. So glad we did, the food was lovely, service was excellent and all staff we encountered very friendly. Great value and topped off with a box of chocolate for mums and a spa voucher, will definitely come back again.

We were here for mothers day Food was beautiful mothers got a gift for the spa which was very thoughtful. Was also kids entertainment. Staff was excellent. Lovely hotel. Highly recommend it especially for familys. We will surely be back. Thank you Stacey moffett

We booked lunch for Mothers day at ghe Hillgrove yesterday and the food and the service we got was nothing short of excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family celebration if you are having a special occasion. Each of the Mothers received chocolates which was a very nice touch.

Had a beautiful family meal , service was excellent, food was delicious. The staff were happy to help in any way possible , we were in the restaurant which was set up beautifully for our family occasion, thanks to the hillgrove hotel and staff
