We loved the peaceful, quiet nature that surrounds VilaFoia and is embedded in the service. The staff were helpful and courteous and very accommodating! We enjoyed the massage, wellness and yoga class that was offered. A healing atmosphere for sure. The included breakfast was delicious in addition to being thoughtfully prepared and served. Although the weather was foggy and rainy most of the time - it was still a lovely retreat.

Absolutely perfect! Villa Foia sits in beautifully landscaped, stepped gardens at the top of the Monchique mountains. It's surrounded by cork, eucalyptus and orange trees and with views across the Algarve and to the sea beyond. Villa Foia is spotless and beautifully run. The hosts have anticipated their guests’ every need. From the wonderful welcome, to the light filled, immaculate and peaceful rooms with luxurious bedlinen and with stunning views, nothing has been scrimped on. I was even able to do a 9am yoga class before a fresh and nourishing breakfast of fresh fruit, cheese and scrambled eggs. I would like to thank all at the Villa Foia team for the most perfect experience and a complete recharge just before Christmas. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Foia . The staff were just incredible very welcoming very pleasant in a genuinely friendly way. The hotel itself is a wonderful location with amazing views right down to the coast, near enough to Monchique but far enough away to give one the sense of being away from it all. This is a very special place and we will certainly return.

Beautifully positioned. Ideal inland location in the hills. Henke & Michel knew the area well and were able to give us helpful advice on walks, where to eat and timings. Weather at end of October was great. Lovely views of coast across to Lagos.

Large room modern with beautiful view. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Very good experience. Nice restaurants around. Narrow road to reach the resort. Beautiful view on the top of mount Foia a 10 minutes ride from the hotel. The highest peak in Algarve.

Great place in a charming environment, in the middle of a Cork trees forest. Great place to relax with nice overlook on Algarve. You can either go for a SPA, for a hike, ... Personel was enjoyable and nice. Great ''dining'' room where you can bring your own food while using all their dishes, silverware, ... You also have access to purchase wine, drinks and food directly on site.

A sanctuary of stillness in the hills looking out to the coast set in a beautiful garden. Very clean and cared for. Comfortable and relaxed. Excellent breakfast and close to Monchique. We would love to return to soak up the wellbeing. A gem ..

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Vila Foia. The location is amazing, the pool so refreshing, great breakfast and friendly staff . The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the view amazing. I did a nice yoga class on the terrace. We enjoyed the pretty town of Monchique and the surrounding cork forest. We would highly recommend this place.
