We stayed here several years ago and were impressed. Beautiful hotel, the food was excellent as was welcome. Now… sadly, it was different. Still beautiful buildings in a beautiful spot. The customer service is poor, the food average but expensive. The seating area near reception has been abandoned, so difficult to get served drink or coffee here, in a wonderful part of the hotel , which is a shame.
Pools nice ,
The hotel’s wine is good. But we were overcharged in restaurant, which fortunately we noticed.
All in all, a disappointing experience.

Great resort. Beautiful scenery welcoming staff. Nice arts and crafts, multiple pools and restaurants at resort. Attentive staff, romantic setting and watching the sunrise is an amazing experience. Very well apportioned rooms, excellent service, ample acreage for walking.

Wonderful experience of 5 nights staying at this lovely place. We stomped grapes to make wine, we made bread and candles and soap. We ate at the taverna which was lovely (open twice per week) especially the table full of starters from the estate. A highlight was a boat trip. My 8 year old daughter loved the many cats, especially Garfield. The moussaka at Mouriès was exceptionally delicious, as was the beautiful breakfast. I’m not sure if we will ever be in the Peloponnese again but if we are we will definitely be back. The resort was quiet and my daughter was the only child but we did not feel unwelcome and staff went out of their way to include her.

We had the chance to visit this gem. The staff, the location, the view, the amenities were all in all impeccable. We would love to have the opportunity to visit Kinsterna soon again. The available experiences and the staff’s personal interest towards our every need as wells towards the history of the hotel and their constant guidance and proposals made us feel part of the hotel and its rich magnificent background. It was truly unforgettable.

When a hotel is really great, I review it for myself. I love looking back at my reviews to remember my most wonderful travel experiences. This will be one of those reviews. We found the beautiful Kinsterna Hotel is a coffee table book called “Great Escapes Greece”. Obviously, we checked TripAdvisor before booking! Kinsterna exceeded my expectations in so many ways. - We arrived late after the restaurants were closed. The staff (who seem to care for the place like they own it) offered to have club sandwiches waiting in our room. - They grow and make SO MUCH on site. Olives, oranges, marmalade, wine grapes, so many vegetables, etc. What hotel does that! Try the local Kidonitsa wine. - If I’m not mistaken, the pool was fresh water from a well. No chlorine, no salt. - The building has more than just history. Take the tour to learn how they turned ruins into a magnificent complex. - Seriously amazing value - I just wish the flights to Greece weren’t so expensive. - We stayed in a villa, which was built 10-15 years ago. Amazing craftsmanship like you never see any more. I wouldn’t stay there for the spa. The people were nice, but there was room for improvement.

Wow, what a beautiful hotel. The pool is surrounded by orange trees, and view on the sea. Service of all the staff is great. Rooms are not very big, but beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast with fresh products is so good. Beautiful place for relaxing and not far from Monemvasia.

Our stay at Kinsterna was a fantastic experience. What a beautiful location! Compliments to all employees, the service was a well-oiled machine, which you rarely see. The breakfast was overwhelming, we never had such a good breakfast. The food in restaurant Sterna and Lino’s was excellent in every way, thanks to the chef Georgicas!
